Ascent from Llandonna beach CP initially along coast path but almost got led astray by it having been re-routed. Final approach to summit from this direction was a bit of scramble.desperate dan15/07/2023

Decent run along the 'coast' path from Beaumaris with this ascent included. Very easy to access from the road. Nice views from the trig point over to Menai Strait and (I think) Red Wharf Bay.ewangibb8719/02/2023

From Beaumaris to Llanddona, it's not far from there. Parked by the footpath. Just enough room for one car, followed the track to the right, you finnaly get to the trig point, according to Strava the highests point is in the middle rather than by the trig point but not sure that's correct.Skarletk19/02/2022

1 - The RoW circling the hill to the north, shown on my 2019 map, has been closed. There is no public access through Tan-dinas farm. tim747 said it was proposed. It has now happenned. - 2 - A pleasant church to the northeast is worth a visitAlan Moore08/09/2021

The only tump today on an otherwise packed itinerary exploring the peninsular N of Beaumaris and Pentraeth with Lesley, stopping to explore an overgrown Standing stone near Llandona then parking up near the Church lower down and taking the track as others then the path to the Trig with the higher land and rock a few metres away, close to a bramble thicket. We carried on to explore the Augustinian Priory, St Seriol's Well, the Dovecote then Penmon point looking across to Puffin Island (hopefully will summit in August) followed by an exploration of the Castle, Gaol, Courthouse, Baron Hill ruins followed by a circ walk then over to Bangor for food.Dazingdale18/07/2019

Quick up and down just as the sun was setting, great views across to Snowdonialisa90521/09/2017
On a little detour while walking the coast path from Benllech to Penmon. It poured with rain just before we started to climb up from the west, but the sun was coming out by the time I got up into the fort interior. The interior has grown into a lovely meadow and the views a very fine in all directions.thesweetcheat22/07/2017
W Jen and Bryher, up from gate/stile to SW, just enough room to squeeze the campervan in. Gorsey approach made choice of shorts interesting. Fine view inc a peek at Puffin Isle.nordicstar09/06/2017
