Park at the end of the road at 511562. Charles Darwin climbed this hill in 1842. He also climbed La Campana near Olmue in Chile in 1834 (voyage of the Beagle). I also climbed that hill in 1974.arranc31/05/2013

Parked at viewpoint on road at SH 51495 58390. Climbed Moel Smytho en route. Fantastic rock formation on summit of Moel Tryfan. Highest point is not the trig but easily climbed obvious rock pinnacle. Charles Darwin climbed this hill on the 26th June 1942David Gradwell13/07/2010
