We had finished our walk round Valle Crucis over 3 hills at 1530hrs so drove back to Carrog via Horseshoe Pass and the ridge road that almost goes over this Hump. Big double gates at pt 393 gave bw-free access to HP. Very easy indeed. With Pete. | pwheeler | 21/03/2022 |

A couple of fences to climb from the road. With B and R. | jenx | 26/11/2018 |
As Jen says, further (200m approx.) GR 143488 on the road there's a field gate that leads across to trig and means no fences to climb... | nordicstar | 26/11/2018 |
Parked on wide verge to side of gate at 140485 - Over gate, NE across sheep pasture & over barbed wire fence to unmarked summit. Friendly farmer keen to know what I was doing. (S) | gerrybowes | 13/11/2018 |

park at 140485 on verge. over gate and walk up to cross BWF. Top is just on the other side. | arranc | 03/05/2013 |
Parked on a grassy pull in by the fence then wandered down the lane, over the gate (Ripping my trousers on the way) and up to the summit. Stood a while admiring the Llantysilio ridge that I walked earlier in the day, then back to the car to escape the bitter wind! | hillhiker | 03/03/2013 |

Like the man said from the gate and parking spot to the east. Couldn't be easier! | simon and co | 04/01/2013 |
Parked in lay-by on A5104 W of Bryneglwys. Took lane steeply up past farm to join lane along ridge. Over bolted gate and so to un-defined summit - either rounded bump W of boundary line, boundary line itself, or spot about 10m east of barbed wire fence. A fine pastoral hill with good views. | Man of Kernow1 | 25/11/2012 |

Could be either on fence line or in field depending whether you consider the raised bank on which the fence is sited to be man made. | clivevilla | 27/09/2012 |
