Satisfying circuit on RoW from Bethel on A494. Parking at road jct. North to Cefn Caer Euni. Paths to Caer Eini. Descent to Cwm Cottage Farm. Over fields, A494 and through wood to Pen-y-Bryn. Good path through bracken to 003.397 and ascent over heather to M Mynyllod. Descent to pool 999.397 then RoW and A4402 to car. | Moorponder | 08/07/2023 |
It all started so well, strolling up the footpath from Hafoty Wen in late afternoon sunshine but somehow I managed to make hard work of this hill. It might have been someone phoning about work that distracted me but whatever it was, I ended up on the summit to the north. I then decided to go the SE top but after crossing a swamp I realised at the small ridge north of spot 372 that something was wrong. I checked the map carefully and realised I'd been to the wrong top. Went to the right top but somehow managed to get confused again on the way back to Hafoty Wen, arriving at my car as night fell more by accident than design. I think I need a good night's sleep. | Wycombe Wanderer | 24/01/2022 |

Used old farm track from A494 to NE. Overgrown but passable. Better beyond the uninhabited farm, and easily to the top. With R and B. | jenx | 28/06/2019 |
HP in thick bilberries and heather, one of several hummocks in a close area. Nice views. Not too bad through the pathless terrain. | Denise | 04/05/2019 |

Pleasant walk up path via Cwm from north. Expansive views at heathery top. | Campbell Singer | 30/06/2016 |
With K and RM. From NW. Some navigational difficulties in lower reaches, a friendly cat and a herd of bullocks. If entering via southern of two farms, turn left between buildings towards end of range. | Ashley | 28/05/2016 |
Nice to walk away from the SE top behind me so as to not look at the butchered top. This top is a tad unusual in that it has a central depression with 3 arcs of higher land around it. Old earthwork?. Summit unmarked in heather. | stig_nest | 15/05/2016 |
A circular walk from Lladderfel along the tops first and returning along the disused railway line. | mad max | 15/03/2016 |

Afternoon womble from Cynwyd to Llandderfel. Approached by farmer at small col to north of summit who thought I looked lost. Wasn't sure of access status (only had 1:50K map with me) so didn't disabuse him. | Smudge | 17/10/2010 |
