Used pwheeler's descent route. Easy parking by start of RoW at SN 8219 9926 - Up RoW to gate due E. of top at SN 9201 9967 - Over gate & then W. along fence line through 3 more gates to unmarked summit. Over short, sheep-grazed grass to the alternative top. Fine viewpoint. (S) | gerrybowes | 25/08/2021 |
Easy parking to SE at start of ROW. Visited both tops. | PGCE | 11/02/2021 |
Parked in Abercegir- roadside. As is usual in Wales, footpaths variably marked. HP in sheep pasture. Grey but dry. Part of multi tump circuit. | Denise | 21/10/2020 |
From Abercegir on non-existent field paths and bridleway. Visit both of the green and grassy summit domes, little in height between them. Sheep pasture with sheep. A grey, but at present, dry day. | RichardM | 21/10/2020 |
Good parking at start of track to SW. Easily up track and across to top. With B and R. | jenx | 12/03/2020 |
Parked at SN 8218 9925, right at the start of the walk. There's another good spot 100 m NE. We went along the bridleway to go round from the W top, hoping to avoid barbed wire but I think we needed to turn uphill, W of the fence, at SN 8154 9942 as the route shown on the map was barred by barbed wire higher up. Instead, we headed for a gate at SN 8154 9942 which gave access to the HP. Good views. On a very windy day, this gave us a feel for how windy it was on high ground- not too bad. We descended E, gates at all fences onto access land, where the bridleway led us back to our start at Gydrhos. | pwheeler | 18/09/2018 |
3/7 Third of seven on wet cold misty day (Cwm y Derw/Foel Fadian/Bryn-y-Brain/Fron Goch/Ffrid pen-y-Graig/Cefn Coch/)Pfridd Esgair-yr-Owen)Brynn Crugog) | Fergalh | 15/01/2017 |
Continuation of walk from Fron Goch. Descended steeply south to the lane, following it up north-east, then joining lane south into the valley. Continued straight across over bridge and up past a house into a wood. Then followed RoW up north ridge, crossed track and then steeply up to the east top. Then visited west top, as Geograph 1:10k map has 294m spot heights on both. To return, headed north back down to the track, following it east and south to the lane. Followed this north to Tal y Wern, then lanes back up to Darowen. | Man of Kernow1 | 19/11/2016 |
Did both tops in case the status is changed to twin tops. | clivevilla | 23/07/2015 |

came from ESE nice little walk with a little barb wire jumping. Think this is definately a twin top as the os map has the spot height to the west of grid listed here. my summit grid is for the western top. | DARRENG | 25/10/2010 |
