Same route as Norman.PeterD08/04/2023
From Gore quarry entrance, up the forest track, then an obvious footpath to the right takes you to within metres of the hp.NormanW22/05/2022
From Gore parking, signed ROW south to west ridge FP which comes out at fields. Continued on field path parallel to field edge round to field corner N of summit. Crossing point into woods, onto a track (starts from main track at N end of summit ridge). Crossed track to zigzag path to summit ridge track and followed it to summit. Returned on track which joins main track to E of ridge and back to parking, longer by 400 m. Way out was the more pleasant!henryfm23/04/2022
From Ridgebourne Road carking area. 4/6 on a six hill round. Lovely hills.9 miles just under four hours.Longwojo23/04/2022
From Bradnor Hill. Across fields below Herrock Hill. Up to gate & track in NE corner of Navages Wood. Along track until forest becomes less dense & steep. Up thru trees, finding a track on ridge back to summit. Back down to track then RoW to Radnor House. KeithByTheC26/03/2022
Woodland summit but fairly open. Path most of way then a little thrash. National Nature Reserve and mainly Access land. Apparently, volcanic outcrop with Mediterranean plants found due to sheltered aspect.Denise 19/03/2022
High point in group of 3 lofty pines ~ 10m E of path along the ridge. Stanner Rocks NNR.RichardM18/03/2022
From spot height 213 to west, along cabby track. Unusual make of sheep in a field of mud with nothing to eat and taunted by greens the other side of an electric fence. Walked along track, passed grassy atv track that cuts right but wasn't sure whether it was the right one (it was) so continued to point on track below the bwlch between spots 333 and 349. From there a good path leads to the summit. Descended by grassy track to make a satisfying circuit. I'd recommend this route as the best bit of the hill is the wooded SW ridge from the bwlch.Wycombe Wanderer17/01/2022
As Alan Moore. Roadside parking near N. end of loop road at SO 2591 5919 - Across the A44, through pedestrian gate & along vehicle track to SO 2686 5928 - Good path up NE ridge to within 15m of the unmarked summit; this lies to the left of the track close to some mature conifers. A pleasant woodland walk. (S)gerrybowes13/08/2021
From Gore along the vehicle track to SO 26869 59283 and then an easy path to the top with just the last 2-3m being overgrown. No view.Alan Moore25/07/2021
Stanner Junction - Worsell Wood - Hanter Hill - Hergest Ridge - Stanner Hill - Herrock Hill - Rushock Hill - Bradnor Hill - Kington.Mark Jackson17/04/2021
8 hill circuit from junction at Nash. From Herrick Hill: From high point of road to east, through two fields on to track in forest. S a short way then followed fence to ridge. Track to summit and down NE side. Onwards to Burfa Bank. 4/8.PGCE21/01/2021
From high point of road to east, through two fields on to track in forest south, up to col between s summit and main then north to summit. (10,1)vegibagger04/11/2020
Parked on hard standing on edge of A44 just N of Gore at SO 25883 59408. Followed the track through the gate into Navages Wood, then steeply up through the woods, out across a hedge line and back into the woods on the other side. Up to join a track at SO 26605 59141, then up a small track at about 2663 5916, finishing on a vehicle track near the summit. Descended on a new looking mud track all the way from the summit to join the main vehicle track at SO 26870 59279, then the main vehicle track back to the start. The descent route would have been an ideal way up.LizH20/08/2020
Enough daylight remaining to be able to get off this hill without needing to resort to the torch. Only just though.Alex C21/03/2020
Verge parking on loop road (SO 2592 5921), quarry access road mainly. Good forest roads to SO 2674 5939, then a woodland track veers off and leads to hill top.jonglew19/12/2019
From main road by Stanner Rocks. 6ft high brambles and ferns to deal with once leaving the main track! Awful! Solo. Walked across field to join footpath to Herrock Hill. Solo.Dangerous Dave15/09/2019
From old road parking at Gore, FP up ridge, through barricaded Stile, direct across field from GR264593 to follow trail to West wood edge, over fence and fine path to summit. Tracks do exist in woods but not required unless a longer walk is desirednordicstar29/12/2018
Good walk up from parking nr quarry. Paths all the way.jenx29/12/2018
With K from Walton Court campsite (recommended). Paths generally open. Summit a jungle.Ashley12/07/2018
Used Marktrengoves route except instead of going all the way up the overgrown forest track, we took a path nearer the fence that led to the point, higher on the track, that strikes off for the summit. The ridge track (another in disuse except for enough walkers to keep it passable) came out just S of the bend in the main track. Enjoyable on a sunny morning with Pete.pwheeler05/05/2018
Also pretty much the same route as Colin & Mark. Left the main track at SO 26662 59410 and returned to it at SO 26875 59330.Jim.Fothergill15/11/2017
Track/stile into wood, adj.gate @ SO 2617 5941. At SO 26799 59390, take overgrown track right - south. At SO 26647 59170 indistinct path thru' wood, improves and leads to summitcarole engel04/11/2017

From A44 to W.Chris Peart08/07/2014
Parked in small lay-by at start of RoW north, opposite quarry, at SO 25943 59242 - room for 2-3 cars. Took RoW north along edge of wood for a few hundred metres, and then into wood over stile - wood is Forestry Commission with open access. Continued up on forest road, diverting on a track by waymark sign at SO 26681 59242. Followed this steeply up to its highest point, where a small path winds up through the trees to the summit area. To descend, followed ridge track north-east to rejoin forest road at SO 26852 59275, and thence back to starting point.Man of Kernow121/12/2013
After Old Radnor Hill, track/footpath from A44 to west, then NE, E, then SW around contour until path westwards to top. Completed loop to south on return, friendly ponies scrounging biscuits on track.dicky10/08/2013

Quite steep walk up with little or no view on top. Lots of brambles on the path I followed, will be quite difficult later in the year. heavyhorses.co.uk/humpsheavyhorses07/03/2011
Track and path from west.arranc23/01/2011
From SO 262 582summitsup12/04/2009
From footpath off A44 at base of Stanner Rocks. The top is in woods and a big Christmas tree with a few rocks by it seems best. The lower top SW of the saddle is much more satisfactory with good views.clivevilla13/02/2009
