From the road to Penderyn at SN 97831 13062. Up the track to the quarry, then on to the trig on the summit by various sheep tracks. Descended east of the quarry to make a loop walk. 2km, with 110m of ascent.Man of Kernow106/06/2023

Easy parking to side of old quarry track at SN 9783 1306 - Zigzag up to the large quarries & then a pleasant ascent to trig point & summit. Enjoyable walking over limestone with much short, sheep grazed grass & animal trods across the rougher stuff. A good hill! (S)gerrybowes10/11/2021

Parked at 977 130 (small space at entrance to long disused quarry on E side of A road, just by the county boundary signs - room for 3 cars at least). Short walk to SE on short grass and no nasties. Fab views of the Beacons, I was lucky there was still some snow.dicky06/04/2013
Parked at edge of the forest to the SE of the HuMP. Walked NW over rough ground littered with shake holes to the summit. Lots of wild(?) ponies in the area. Returned E and SE to the Llyn-on Reservoir and then along the minor road.jonglew16/02/2013
