Parked at the Trallong community hall which is set back from road, a short distance E. of junction - Up road & then a pleasant walk over easy ground up RoW before taking a short path through gorse to the summit mound. Fine views. (S) | gerrybowes | 26/01/2022 |
5/5 of Nant Bran horseshoe. Cycled down and up from Pen Maesmyrddin, avoiding bogs and gorse in equal measure. Superb views followed by a rapid descent to Trallong village hall. | Rob Rees | 10/04/2021 |

High start from the road to the northwest but still a fair bit of up and down to bag this along with the other Tump. Saw a very impressive rainbow on the way back. | Alex C | 31/12/2017 |
Parked to the NW near bridleway then easy walk to Llanfihangel-Nant-Bran trig point. Then back to bridleway and onward to Twyn Disgwylfa in rather wet conditions with Alex and Tony. | Dugswell2 | 31/12/2017 |

last of day, getting late but Trallong common used to park, Wernfigin route, and mist kept good daylight going until 4.30 pm | dicky | 01/11/2015 |
We tried the narrow road to Penbryn but found no parking possibilities, so it was back downhill to park at the community hall. No issues on the hill itself, an enjoyable stroll | Colin Crawford | 25/06/2015 |
3/11 Done as part of double Pen Maesmerddyn and Twin Disgwylfa. Parked to west at cattle grid. | Fergalh | 30/05/2015 |

Left car with permission at a farm at end of very narrow lane leading steeply uphill from A40. Given very good directions by the lady. Over the stream and gate, turn left and go straight uphill with stream on left to a gate leading onto the common. Weaved through gorse patches to the high point on a mostly flat summit. No cairn. 16.00. | arranc | 08/08/2012 |
Parked on narrow road about 100m S of Penbryn. Excellent path. Wandered around as 3 candidates for the top. Fairly sure 95129 31868 is the top | destaylor | 11/06/2010 |
