Skipton Moor 373m, P137m (s.35B). From Shortbank Road, Skipton (SE 00127 51188). Took the path up through the Shale Plantation woods, then east across the moor via a wall gate along the summit ridge to the HP and trig. Then did a loop over Vicar's Allotment on the high ground to rejoin outward route. With RP, BC and TA. 4.5km, with 260m of ascent.Man of Kernow117/04/2024
Visited Skipton Moor on Day 11 our Pennine Trail, today from Ilkley to Skipton. With Eric, Geoff, and Steve. A cold and cloudy day, with the raw north-easterly wind thankfully on our backs throughout. 20km with nearly 500m ascent, taking us 5h40m.silverwolf_alan11/01/2024

No parking available on the road to Carr Bog Farm. Parking at tk to High Bracken Hill Farm (SE024488). Up road NNW to Moor Gate. No waymarkers, FP is off to L, throughstane stile in corner, behind trees. NW beside wall up to barn, still no waymarkers, faint ATV continues upwards N then vanishes in veg on High Bradley Moor – thin FP to wall junction (SE016503), which can be negotiated, with care. Faint path and ATV on other side to Skipton Pits, then N across rough veg to join ATV to topIsbjorn27/08/2022

A pleasant 2 mile circular walk from end of Shortbank Road at SE 00154 51179. Did walk in a clockwise direction making use of an excellent but steep path (not shown on maps) from little gate at SE 01124 51215 for ascent to summit from north. Returned in a westerly direction on another path not shown on maps to join public footpath at SE 00724 50760. Highest point is rock 30m west of trig.
