With Ted from Forestry Car Park. Visited outcrops close to reservoir and trig point.Jim T14/03/2024
Parked at the forest CP and decent paths t follow Top n Trig. The Trig summit is the far more impressive, shame the views are restricted with the treesmatty1971b13/03/2024
Parked at the end of the forest tracks to the W. Up the track with the metal gate, leaving it on a bike track after about 170m, crossed the next track and into the rough vegetation at SE21054 51464. Very short distance to the heathery/mossy high point. Went on to follow various tracks through the woods to the trig point tor. Peter climbed up to the trig point, but I stayed on the ground!LizH18/11/2023

From CP, following various tracks to the compound, followed by a trek through the brush to the top. then another thrash/trek to the path before heading off to the trig. This was worth the trip being perched on top of a tor, that was some effort to climb.Andrew Pearson18/02/2023
Unsatisfactory, but somewhere in pines near fenced reservoir- various lumps visited. Trig also visited via a myriad of forest paths. Surprisingly delightful with sporting scramble to rocky Tor summit with trig on top. Views above trees from trig.Denise 28/01/2023

3 of 3: Parked at the forest entrance at 208515. Been very close to the trig before on the Little Alms Cliff Crag path. With Karen.ChrisR18/10/2021

Parked to WNW, along track towards mast along a smaller track and then in to trees to HP not far from mast perimeter. Visited a couple of mounds in the trees that could be HP. Also went on to trig and enjoyed climb to reach it.PeterD30/06/2021
Quick detour to the summit while doing the Paul Hannon 14km circular walk from Little Alms Cliff (SE 236 522), with Jayne and Josh.silveracorn_alan07/10/2020

Also visit the trig which seemed higher than everything else (?)BaggerGutt17/12/2018
Walked round the enclosure and assessed where the highest point was. Eventually shown the trig point by two other walkers, but decided not to attempt to climb to it. Pleased to find later that the trig is not the highest point.JohnW30/09/2018
The forest is taking over! Pity the trig pillar, on the superb rock tor, does not mark the hill summit.ger17/09/2018

As David Gradwell. Parking area by entrance to forest tracks at SE 20876 51527 - Up vehicle track towards mast for about 200m & then turned right & along stone track for about 50m - Made way up through vegetation to small bilberry-covered summit mound, alongside which lies a couple of lengths of old duckboard. Good path to trig point which was bagged, thanks to the assistance of a local boulderer who loaned me his pads. (S)gerrybowes11/09/2018

Drove over via A59 after doing Round Hill and completed area 35B by walking round paths and track, first anticlockwise then clockwise to be sure of the HP. Still only 40 mins. An isolated buddleia on a forest track had 30+ Peacock butterflies on it- that was, to be honest, the highlight.pwheeler23/07/2018
W Jenx and Bryher from roadside CP, following track clockwise, visited HP nr mast then trig area, looked a lot higher, nice little scramblenordicstar02/05/2018

Short walk up comms mast access track from car park. Then into woodland to determine where the HP might be. Walked the perimeter fencing of both comms and water compounds. Fairly sure there was no need to access either to stand on the highest point. Trig pillar much more interesting, easy scramble up onto large boulder where sits the pillar.jonglew07/12/2017
