Lovely way to start a day's walking. A fine Spring morning to walk from Clunbury, up the bridleway then NE to SW over the HP and joining a green lane at SO638796 to return to village. Gates where needed, no bbw fences to cross. Easy to park by school/hall even with lots of setting up bunting, etc. for Charles III coronation tomorrow.pwheeler04/05/2023

Parked in Clunbury. Walked up main path and over to the summit. Great views. Took circular loop back to far end of hill, very scenic path. With Alma Aurea. /Dmeltdiceburg30/12/2022
From the village hall parking, up the footpath heading East initially, through a gate and out onto open fields with a choice of two farm tracks, and a field of cows.NormanW25/05/2022
Up via reservoir, good track.Adrian21/10/2020
Parked at Clunbury village hall, along and right at crossroads, and right at the top of the road. Following gerrybowes suggestion, a narrow path linked with a track parallel to the road which we walked to a gate, then sharp left at a second gate, and along until just before a third gate we followed the hawthorn hedge straight up to the summit. Returned diagonally across the fields to the second gate.LizH17/08/2020
Parking area alongside Clunbury Village Hall at SO 3699 8041 - Along Twitchen Road to crossroads, turned right & up lane to T-junction - Turned right & along road for 130m to start of track which has been cleared of bramble & bracken - Up track, taking a couple of left forks, but then headed mainly SW (a few good wide tracks not shown on map) to gate at 370799 - SSE up alongside a line of ancient hawthorn to unmarked summit in a stand of trees. Couldn't see any village hall in Twitchen but there was little pull at junction next to bench and notice board.Along main road to turning on right , along this road to join curving green track, and then up over open pasture to pleasant top.Mark Sims08/02/2020
With Minnie, from comm hall parking on Twitchen Rd to x roads then SE to find track going East uphill, bit slippy in places after rain, at col, track SW & field to top & copse of leaning trees, lovely views & spot to sit for a while. Excellent Autumn weather, back down same way.apricorum08/11/2019
Curved track to west - space for one car where it joins the road. Up track, then directly up grassy field.PGCE12/10/2019
Parked by village Hall, then took FP by Pool House Farm and track up hill. Eventually following line of trees NE to top. HP amongst well spaced trees. Made a circular walk of it by heading NE and following BW down.PeterD25/08/2018
Parking at Clunbury village hall. Walk along Twichen Road then cross field on well marked RoW. Pick up excellent circular lane which climbs gently to the summit field. 2.9km return 45 minutes.moorsman08/08/2018
Track from Pool House beautifully dry and lovely autumn colours. Then good valley views up along the old hedge line to the larches.jenx15/10/2017
Fresh sunny morning in the Clun valley. Parking in space by pool house at start of lane. Followed this to field gate, up hill direct to summit area of scots pine trees. Super 360 degree views. Jenx and Bryer jogged back down.nordicstar15/10/2017
Parking impossible for the FP from Clunbury (to North). Instead parked by track at SO369800 and used the good track for access. Just after the gate (easy to miss on the way back), continue to just before the little copse on your left, where currently a wide mown grass strip leads almost to the summit.carole engel29/07/2017
With K. Followed curving track. When the fence on the left hand side ends near the pleasant larches, ascend the hill directly following the old hedge line. There is a fenced in area near the top but this does not contain the summit, which is N of the fenced area.Ashley16/04/2017
Parked at start of track NW of hill, followed track to gate then straight up.Jim.Fothergill07/04/2017
Parked at villiage hall. Steep track then gently to summit copsecjo26/03/2017
Solid curving farm track from Pool house. Then up hawthorn hedgerow. Many cows but not interested in us. Bit breezy today. Top in Copse which is used quite regularly as a moo loo.stig_nest29/12/2015

Followed track from the NW - a pleasant ascent route.Chris Peart15/08/2014
If only all HuMP’s were as pleasant as this.Alex C22/06/2014
Parked at junc of minor road and farm track approx 350m NW of summit. Farm track (shown on OS 1:25k map) gives access to within 300m of hill top with final ascent over hillside pasture. There is a second summit that seems to be about same height 90m due S; gave me the same GPS elevation as true summit, so probably just a foot or so lower.jonglew07/10/2013
From B4385 to SW, 2 gates plus 3 hedges/fence to negotiate from here. Summit near/in group of stunted wind affected trees up from cattle stockade and building.Dugswell227/11/2011
P at start of track NW of top. Followed track to end then up field to small wood.chrisbien19/07/2011
