Re-visit for new grid reference.andrew brown28/01/2021
Followed Chiltern Way from Honey Lane heading for trig pillar shown on map at SE corner of Keepers Cottage which I could not find and assumed must be within cottage private grounds. Returning to Chiltern Way headed for Bowsey Hill passing cottage arround north and West boundaries. Returning from Bowsey Hill again headed for SE corner but this time along the south boundary which was a minor bushwack through nettles. Spotted trig pillar (painted black) over wall in grounds of Keepers cottage. Did cross 140m contour on west boundary but assume HP within private grounds. Still claimed as think head above HP and completely circled it within cottage boundarymntainman05/07/2020
Climbed with Bowsey Hill from Warren RowRockdoctor28/06/2020

Pleasant, if muddy woodland walk including Bowsey and Ashley Hills. To my eye, HP on small mound just outside the Eastern 'Keepers Cottage' fence.maclrc22/02/2020
HP outside garden on mound about to burst forth with daffodils. Trig visible inside garden. Pleasant woodland walk on murky day.Denise 15/02/2020
Circuit of woodland and field paths including Ashley Hill from Knowl Hill on a grey and wet afternoon, plenty of mud around. Raised ground on S side of fence. A host of Daffodils about to burst into flower to take over from the flagging Snowdrops. Also visited trig and front door of house.RichardM15/02/2020
You cant get to the summit as it's in the Keepers Cottage. Easy walk to Bowsey Hill from here.jarmin4515/12/2019
3rd tump of the day. 1st, Surrey Hìll from Bagshot station then after trains to Reading and out again, Wargrave island continuing to Bowsey hill then on good fp to reach natural Hp beside tennis courts. Followed boundary to gates but land lower so continued to Fultness Wood Hill. Strangely, my readings were higher at Bowsey hill...Dazingdale21/08/2019

On own. From Warren Row through pleasant deciduous woodland to Keepers Cottage. Startled a deer in woods - actually I was the one startled. Tried intercom to gain access to trig point in the garden but no-one home or they saw me coming. Large barking dog inside this secure inaccessable property. Walked around perimeter and into highest part of woodland. Very quiet, not even a dog walker. Return same route.Beeliner22/03/2019
Circular walk: Knowl Hill, Bowsley Hill, Ashley Hillcallumorr10/01/2019

Easy now to bag summit of Ashley Hill then a quick dash to bag the black trig on a quiet Friday morning then off to Bowsey Hill.Dugswell209/09/2016
From Hurley- parked near to main Henley road and took path via Ladyeplace. Nice woods, but scrappy round summit. The trig point is in the grounds of a house; wandered round its perimeter fence where there is higher ground on its S side. Returned via Frogmill and Thames Path; huge numbers of people park on these meadows on sunny days- leave this section for an evening walk. I started my walk at 1630 hrs- plenty of timepwheeler30/07/2016
Managed to park just south of the bend east of Warren Row. It took 35 minutes return. A bit of a grim place with a security fence around a very uninspiring large residential property at the summit. Solo.bolton24/05/2016
With K after doing the 5 chiltern humps. This tiny ascent was biggest of day. Pleasant enough.Ashley20/05/2016

Parked in Dew Drop c/p. Walked round heavily fortified house at top, but couldn't see trig. pillar. Saw a vertical black stone slab in garden near main gate.ngthack25/08/2015
A Google search shows that Ashley Hill is a popular name for people including a male boxer, a female Texan folk singer and 25 other professionals who use Linked-In. Is this the most popular use by real people of an actual hill name?- there must be others? Sadly I failed to find, not surprisingly, anybody sharing the nearby name of Pudding Hill.Chris Pearson14/06/2015
High point could be small mound near tennis court west side. With Tash after Bowsey hill from Holly cross xroads About 3 hour round trip lovely woodlands.pigerg09/05/2015
