Rising ground at field margin near the track to the reservoir seemed highest. Reading of 148.7m taken from adjacent road summitVulcan20/08/2023
A sad CoHP. But then Cambridgeshire is known for being flat. Parked end of track. Road / hedge / field margin all look as high.Minto29/06/2023
Walked from bus stop at Barley. Narrow country lanes and a few lorries to watch out for. The summit is really nothing to see but there are some pleasant views of the surrounding farmland on the way there.hillbagger9106/06/2023
Parked at village hall. Tree damaged fence allowed access onto drive by reservoir for a brief visit. We didn't realise initially that the drive is possibly private until we saw the closed electric access gate near the road and left.richard6916/01/2023

Along road from village and up short track to edge of compound containing a covered reservoir. KeithByTheC24/02/2022
Did Cambridgeshire and Essex in the same walk after a very early morning doing Suffolk's County Top. Very easy to get to being pretty much by the village of Great Chishill. Didn't bother going to the artifical ground on the summit as for us, it didn't count by the rule book that we stayed consistant at. Walked on the edge of an open field which was definately on the 1m rule for the Summit at 145+m, probably 146m as the OS doesn't seem to recognise the artifical ground either. Anyway, a very flat county top, but some good local views.DavidHiner01/02/2022

Day three of my latest trip. Such a change in the landscape. As soon as I cycled over the A1 the change to smoother topography was noticeable and also wider fields with less hedges.pclyndes12/06/2021

With E. Dry and sunny. Parked in Great Chishill village hall and playing fields car park off Hall Lane. Explored Drive other side of wooden fence (after found it was private - sorry!) then a short walk along track to gates of water board compound. Also walked along edge of hedgerow between compound and ripening field of wheat which GPS indicated took me within 3 metres of summit behind hedgerow/fence but no discernible height difference.Beeliner26/07/2019
