Walk w/Devon. Parked Titsey Place upper car park. Tatsfield, Woldingham, Botley Hill Summit, Botley Hill Trig loop.ZacField01/01/2024
Parked in Oxted and walk to top via Titsey. Stayed outside Waylands and noted that field was marred by flytippingPhilipChaston18/08/2023
Parked at entrance to field. Walked along hedgeline: probably the closest you can get without going into the garden. The fence has places which would be crossable if you so desired.PGCE21/12/2022
The hp seems to be a next to a log pile in the front garden of Waylands House. There are locked security gates at the drive entrance but recent hedge trimming activity has left a gap where a person could get through easily if they were tempted. I walked along the field edge and looked in. I also walked up and down by the road. Barking dogs at the back of the house may also deter people getting too close. Solo.Dangerous Dave06/01/2022
Parked in lay-by at junction of Tatsfield Approach Road and Clarks Lane. Walked to field gate then along the field edge and admired through the thick hedge.Newton Maximus31/08/2021
Warlingham circular. Included this diversion during a lockdown exercise walk.Smudge21/02/2021
With E. Parked on Approach Road and walked along field boundary at side of Waylands House. Numerous pheasants in field. Got to within 20 metres but no access from this side because of barbed wire topped fence and impenetrable hawthorn hedge. HP is in garden. Walked to entrance of Waylands House but in view of COVID concerns decided not to access or request access to the garden.Beeliner05/10/2020
After having done a stretch of NDW walked from Botley Hill Farm via Beddlestead Lane then right through what in July was a very overgrown field of rape seed. A machete would've been useful! Got to the wall at the end of the path and followed field around to the south. Field crests out where the grid reference suggests.jedthehumanoid05/07/2019
Walked to house gate and also visited nearby trig. All felt a bit daft but perhaps cos it was foggy so no viewsnickywood115/11/2018
Parked on verge opposite field entrance.Campbell Singer19/04/2018
Walked around Beaver water world, where I could.PeterD16/05/2017
County top outing, there's a lay by at the junction of Clarks lane and Approach road. the closest I could get to the high point seem's to be behind Wyland house.WAYNE ROWLETT13/11/2016
The garden of Waylands House seems to be the best contender. Quite upsetting seeing magnificent eagle owl in cage near reptile house; but very pleasing to see vicious snarling dogs nearby caged up!Aye Jimmy13/04/2016
In garden of Waylands House, by wood pile. Had to vacate quickly when dogs arrived!jonglew16/02/2016

We went along to the top after lunch at Botley Hill Farmhouse. We then went along the Tatsfield Approach. Beaver World was still open but we did not indulge.Dragonzilla28/11/2015
Part of Betsom Hill, Kent Historic County Top walk with Gina. Really wet day so rather than planned 11 mile circular walk ended up driving round and doing short walk to bag days tops. Off road parking near metal barrier. Walked round field boundary and gps put me bang on top of spot though suspect top is on other side of fence on private property. Have to be close enough.mntainman06/01/2015
Parked in Beaver Water World in the heavy rain.edmundjohnson03/01/2015
Parked at Beaver world and had a good look around without making my presence too suspicious.bolton13/11/2014
Parked in car park at Beaver Water World. Highest accessible point within the old GL boundary is located by the fence on the S. side of BWW. Got within 20m of high point, which lies within the grounds of Waylands House, by heading SSW along Approach Road and then ducking under the locked metal barrier and walking along field boundary to TQ40703 56232. Unfortunately, at this point the field boundary lies outside the old GL boundary (S)gerrybowes29/10/2014
Car park convenient. Bimbled about the various sheds.simon and co07/03/2014
Parked by woods near reptile house entrance. Skirted around woods and through fence, into Waylands house Gardens. Didn't feel need to go further, appears high point on lawn.nordicstar21/05/2013

Compared with some of the other nearby tops this one offeres a reasonable view.Father Ted15/08/2009
Stood in field to south and in Reptile Zoo/Beaver World so claiming it by default!Nick29/03/2009
Walked from the car park at Titsey Place. Poor visibilty due to very low cloud/mist.Overthehilljill16/01/2009
20m away from top is as close as you can get - from the edge of the field to the west - as its in the garden of Waylands House. Bonce is higher than the top so it doesn't matter!destaylor13/10/2008
Ticked when visiting relocated Marilyn nearby.Dugswell212/10/2008
Somewhere in a field just south of Beaver Water WorldRichard03/05/2008
Bugger it - I'm claiming this! petey21/03/2008
Although highest point locally is in field, 1987 map shows boundary reaches highest point in garden of Waylands House (? owners of the Reptile Zoo) who appear to have had a bonfire on the spot !signyred27/01/2008
We thought maybe in the field behind Beaver Water World. Fairly uninspiring stuff. Trig point on "summit" of Botley Hill is a mile or so off, so you can bag the marilyn and county top in the same walk.wheresthepath22/10/2004
Did in conjunction with the Kent county top and the 'new' Greater London top.garyhoney15/01/2000

County summit bagging on N Downs with cousin Mark. In garden. The strange case of the Greater London highpoint by the Reptile zoo (as named on my old map but renamed the cuddlier sounding Beaver Water World) which has now been chopped out of Greater London by a boundary change and is replaced by Westerham heights, a few km east, which the older 1973 list of George Bridge always had as the C. Top of G London anyway, even though that was probably an error when he drew up his list, being unaware of the greater height at the reptile zoo / Beaver World.Chris Pearson03/06/1995
