Parked on the large junction triangle which serves as the Bull & Butcher's car park - SE along road to the high point by the manhole cover. Narrow grass verge last 100m or so, but fortunately the road is fairly quiet.gerrybowes19/07/2023

On own. Parked by Bull and Butcher pub which would have been a better hp than the short walk along road to manhole cover!Beeliner02/10/2019
Parked a few yards from manhole cover - walked over to manhole cover and lifted arms as if holding the FA Cup - Wife thinks I've completely lost it.David Evans12/08/2019
Wandered along the road, high point near entrance to Sunnyside Farm. Didn't seem to be anything higher either side.jonglew23/07/2019

8th and final 'top' of the day on a predominantly Worcestershire car tumping route, visiting Swines Hill, Rous Lench Hill, Moreton Hill, South Crest, Newborough and Moorgreen then over to Meighs Wood to complete Solihull and a short drive over to park on the street and then walk over the recorded Grid reference and a bit more and then the drive to Long Eaton to move back into my 'other life'.Dazingdale26/01/2019
I had a walk along the roadAlancache17/05/2018
on way to Ironbridge.KC20/02/2018

Out of the car and then back into the car.Barbara Singer12/11/2017
Parked by Bull & Butcher pub, walked down road past the manhole cover opposite Sunnyside Farm, then back again. Then to Corley for a distant view of the trig.Aye Jimmy16/08/2017
'Sent /Went to Coventry' to not ignore this BOGOF tick -being an additional effortless tick on the drive to Meighs Wood. The main fun was navigating to it, after an inaccessible compound trig at Corley.Chris Pearson23/03/2017
Stroll from pub car park.Bramley12/11/2016
Drive-by with horse lorry on way to Stoneleigh.Minto08/08/2016

First documented ascent without supplemental oxygen. The summit is marked with a superb ferric sculpture which is apparently known as a manhole cover. Forgettable.stig_nest22/04/2016
Parked near pub.mart079721/02/2016
Parked next to the manhole cover, got out of the car and got straight back in again. On to Solihull for more bagging fun...Herbert Anchovy22/01/2016
Parked at pub & walked up road to MHC. Admired it & walked back. Second of three UA high points today.ngthack27/12/2015

Climbed all the ancient county tops in 11 months. Now starting all the others with this walk from Coventry to Solihull and back. No climbing at all, anywhere!callumorr07/12/2014
While in the neighbourhoodijpowell23/06/2014
Chucking it down today. Not a lot to see in this village situated county top. Boring, but another one ticked offandyhudson24/05/2014
Now, I too, have admired the manhole cover.Newton Maximus17/11/2013
28100 84863 is the manhole cover in the middle of the road. 858 would be lower and in a field.arranc17/04/2013
Drive by whilst having a meeting in Coventry. dark by the time I arrived and briefly stopped to 'claim' the top. Not sure I'll see a more dull point on my, sometimes questionable, list bagging quest. Thank goodness that some of the proper hills are a bit more exciting than this.RichieRambler21/11/2012
Explored this area while visiting a few other county tops in the area.magirob07/11/2012
Walked around the village including a look at the Windmill, but agree the manhole cover is the highest point (unfortunately). Plenty of parking opposite the Bull & Butcher pub.Hillsidenick27/10/2012
Drove by on way home. Nice looking pub, good beer. Manhole cover not so inspiring. Moved on quickly to nearby Heath.nordicstar26/07/2012
I too had a dance around the manhole cover in the road.simon and co15/02/2011
