Pleased to have made the drive through the quiet pre-rush clog Leicester at 6am from the M69, after an earlier 4.15am daybreak ascent of Hints Hill (potentail new tump) near Tamworth. A47 Peterborough signs being the clue to getting close to this halt on the eastern urban edge of Leicester - which hosts the Space Centre -great for kids of all ages. They have a Saturn rocket in the car park and a big red button inside which says DONT PRESS -(knowing full well kids will do so!) - at which point alarms start sounding and a countdown begins and steam start jetting out of the rocket outside -in a pretend launching! Leicester also now has the most famous car park in the world -thanks to Richard III.Chris Pearson20/05/2022
Very nondescript location with the summit at a road junction - exceedingly easy-to-reach top!praenterprise24/04/2022

Cycling round of 4 hills from Nottingham, 115km, nether hall, life hill, Burrough hill and gartree hill.Nicky C24/05/2020
Parked in a pull-in which is perfect for baggers just along Keyham Lane West then walked all of 20m E back to road junction. Felt a bit self-conscious snapping a selfie by the junction with all the traffic passing by. Seventh of seven today.Wheelsy09/08/2019
With E. Warm sunny day. Parked on Keyham Lane West and walked back to junction with Hamilton Road. Easy.Beeliner26/07/2019

Close to the road.bolton20/03/2013
On a 5 county top jaunt as the weather was fine, at least not raining anyway. Everywhere there was standing water on the fields and tracks, bad decision to wear my canvas walking boots duh. Why did I do this one, well, because it was there.Mark T19/03/2013
There's a pile of earth by the opening to the golf course so at least, even though it is obviously man-made, there is a mound to stand on. Sad really.clivevilla12/02/2013
Another classic bag on the way home from a meeting in Leicester. Dark by the time I arrived but not a bad area. Parked next to the junction and walked around a bit, got back in the car and drove home.RichieRambler10/12/2012

Bagged with Josh, nice top!simon and co20/03/2011
The top is literally the middle of a T-Junction on an estate road. So being a Leicester local i took myself on a small drive to the top. Really not worth any amount of effort, unless you are driving past or are completely OCD in hill bagging everythingCap_Thunderbolt22/11/2010
First of 4 County tops today, near by trip point was more of a challenge being hidden in the middle of the edge ! http://www.heavyhorses.co.uk/humpsheavyhorses11/05/2010
Nondescript "top" near the village of *Crapto** that wouldn't have been worth going out of my way for if it hadn't have been for 2 geocaches nearby. Highest point is on ridge in Golf course but that is outside UA boundary!signyred19/01/2010
Nice place to park the car on keyham lane, thats really close to the point. shame the area was covered in litter. The Team29/03/2009
