Pretty much as gerrybowes, after walking up to the trig first.Minto30/06/2023
From car park, along North Downs Way & about 100m after bearing NE stepped over collapsed wire fence - Along a bit of a path through rhododendrons, across end of garden & then up across long grass to the Medway boundary & UA top. At this time of year, access from further along the NDW is nigh on impossible due to a mass of bramble, nettle, etc.gerrybowes21/06/2023
Walked up the road from the free car park, having visited the trig point first (196m). Followed the route as described by PGCE without any problems. Solo.Dangerous Dave05/01/2022
From car park. Lane north, then ROW's east and northeast to woodland. Up side of wood to summit.PGCE25/11/2020
From Holly Hill Wood car park turned left up Holly Hill (Lane) past Holly Hill House and left bridleway to the right heading for Medway hp under tree in grass field under large tree. Continued across field to gate in SW corner returning to Holly Hill (Lane) and back to car park. Whilst here visited Holly Hill trig pillar on top of Holly Hill in Holly Hill Wood.mntainman17/10/2020
With E. From Holly Hill car park walked along road past Holly Hill House into Greatpark Wood intending to hop over fence into field. Bad route! Forced back by impenetrable brambles and fallen trees. Took alternative route turning along bridleway to south side of Holly Hill House across access road and then into grassy field and hp close to lone tree. Much easier route choice. Pheasants everywhere. Returned to car park and also went up to trig point.Beeliner05/10/2020

Small detour from North Downs Waylerritt09/08/2019
New to hill-bagging (after looking for a way to record my mountain progress - seems like a good way to get some practice in). Nipped out in my lunch break to walk Kent's top. Beautiful sunny day, lovely drive over and walk through the woodland. Got the trig point first from the car park then walked up the lane to the footpath on the right and beat my way onto the edge of the field. A bit unclear but agree the tree seems to be the HP.MysteriousSue16/05/2019

Up lane from car park in Holly Hill. HP is near a tree in a pasture to the right.clivevilla27/04/2018
Drove to the north end of Holly Hill Rd by following a police pick up truck. Asked if we could park next to no parking sign and permission was readily granted. Had along chat with delightful police officer about hill bagging and strange practices in the country lanes of Medway. Copper with a good sense of humour.Campbell Singer19/04/2018
Parked at road end, along FP and then followed a beaten down route into the field. HP Near tree.PeterD25/11/2016
From car park at end of minor road, easy access along north downs way then bash through undergrowth to field. Would be easier at about any other time of year.rhalstead06/08/2016
From Holly Hill Rd, after the trig pillar. RoW initially then through large rear garden of Holly Hill House, out into a hay meadow. Long wet grass and raining.jonglew01/07/2016

Night visit wandering around field next to the North Downs Way. By an unlikely coincidence there were some outdoor groups out also with headtorches practicing night navigation (pacing etc) in the same field. In true British style we dealt with this unlikely encounter in the dark with a cheery 'good evening'as we passedChris Pearson25/03/2015

A short walk from the car park at 669629. After bashing through the brambles I presume it is the large tree or thereabouts.bolton13/11/2014

Walked up here whilst walking the local area. All very quiet, not many people around.dave-harris15/08/2010
This and the nearby trig from the car park, not bad views and a nice walk.asbown08/10/2009
Bit of a muddy track to follow from car park but top easily found, by the single tree in field seems right.Nick29/03/2009
Parked at Holly Car Park and took a stroll back up the road. The Byway was extremely muddy and has bollards in place to restrict motor vehicles. Top itself easily found and not to unpleasant considering the state of the byway.garyhoney17/12/2008
Parked about a mile away in a lane because of stupid height barriers.Overthehilljill30/11/2008
You can do a decent circular walk from Sole Street station - top isn't much to shout about though.Richard13/09/2008
Very quickly achieved top, so we took a further walk around the area, dropping down onto the Pilgrim's Way and returning through Whitehorse Wood.kaapiovuohi23/08/2008

Uninspiring part-way-up-the-hill on side of path is made up for by very pleasant walking in surrounding woodland.wheresthepath22/10/2004
