From road to N. Farm track to wind turbine. Walked out to the 82m spot height - nice and easy bagmatty1971b31/08/2023
Easy parking on grass verge alongside entrance to northern turbines; this lies about 80m ESE of track to summit - Up track to to manure heap & summit lies about 10m into autumn-sown arable crop.gerrybowes05/04/2023
On own. Parked at entrance to wind turbine and walked up track to HP in field. Manure heap has gone and replaced with rolled hay bails. While there farmer came up on tractor to collect hay. Very friendly and he had no problem with me being there.(phew!)Beeliner18/10/2022
Very easy bag to end the day.Wycombe Wanderer14/10/2022
Found the Manure heap: Many windmills roaring in the strong breeze. Just before heading home to ManchesterGordonAdshead18/10/2021
Parked at the entrance to the access road leading to the wind turbine, limbo under the gate and a quick stroll lead to the top.WAYNE ROWLETT13/10/2021
Felt a bit wrong parking in the entrance to the wind turbine, so I found a spot just after the turning on the road to the W. Ran back up the road and under the gate, then up the track to the manure heap. No crop in the field so ran out to the spot height and then back the same way.Wheelsy27/08/2021
2/7. Parked on verge across rode. Stepped over gate and sauntered up to the pile of manure.Bramley23/05/2021
Just up and round from gate. I see why so many people comment on the manure!Nicky C10/04/2021
Boy Hill from GR: NZ 47927 11076ronaldo33316/06/2020
Off road parking(if you are quick) at turbine 04 entrance just off Seamer Road. Walked to top of farm track just beyond turbine. High point currently next to dung heap slightly beyond track end.mntainman06/12/2019
From road to N. Farm track to wind turbine. Walked out to the 82m spot height - difficult to say which is higher by eye.jonglew06/09/2019
From the wind farm gate, following the established route: along the good track, past turbine 4, turn left for gentle summit dome, not right for dung heap.Nick Down126/08/2019
Limboed under the gate, up the track past the dung heap to what looked like the high point to me. Doubled back to go through the large gap in the hedge and into the field to ‘summit’ the high point according to the OS mapmadaddo15/08/2019
Bagged the manure heap as well.PGCE21/07/2019
GR given is not under the manure heap so felt no need to tackle that.clivevilla10/09/2018
Parked at wind farm gate - check. Walk up easy path past turbine T4 - check. Dung heap - check. Fine views across to the Cleveland Hills - check. A very decent county top.mrs_ts710/06/2018
Easy walk from the wide gateway to the north. Smell of manure well circulated by huge wind turbine.Campbell Singer22/05/2018
As Moorsman.Substantial manure heap still. One consolation is fine view to South-east.catman30/07/2017
Parking at the start of the access track. Under a locked barrier then a couple of minutes to the top,moorsman15/04/2017
From barrier past wind turbine. Walked around manure heap. HP seemed on westside. Manure itself does not count as it was animal-made and obviously not permanent.PeterD09/04/2017
Solo. Alfie stayed in the van. Easy walk up track to the infamous pile of manure.Dangerous Dave26/01/2017
The manure heap seems to have returned!the_adam10/12/2016
Along track to turbine 4. No manure heap in sight.Newton Maximus21/09/2016
A 10 minute walk from the entrance to T4 at 479110. The summit appears to be under the manure mound. Solo.bolton12/08/2016

Persuaded Darren to climb the manure pile for a summit photo. Big wind turbine to stare up at the turning blades from close range if you want to make yourself feel dizzy.Chris Pearson27/07/2016

Used the access track to the turbine.JohnStoneham12/06/2016
From n as others. Summit in field just ne of manure heap I believe, within a few metres of 1:10,000 spot height. 1:25k spot in field to west clearly not the summitRHW02/04/2016
Up access track to turbine 4. No crop, but high point was a steaming pile of manure. This was not scaled, as I had to spend a night in the van with my Innov8s.ngthack25/02/2016
with boys on way to MFC v DCFC - we lost but at least I got to a county top.Mark Sims02/01/2016
As DL. Summit probably in the field - crop recently taken in.destaylor14/08/2015
3' high wheat crop.arranc25/06/2015
Easy parking then walked around wind farm and stubble field to be sure of gaining the summit.Dugswell231/08/2014
Parked near entrance to small wind-farm (it was Sunday). Short walk up wide access road to near Turbine 4. Summit very flat, and thought to be a few metres in from the fence.Aye Jimmy10/03/2013
The construction road still there after turbine completion, locked gate at road easily crossed. Walk up the 5m wide track to old field boundaries. This is progress apparently...nordicstar11/12/2012
Wasn't expecting to be able to drive to the top of this one:). Parked on the access track to the masts which looked very new. Visited the 82m spot height although all the neighbouring land around the mast to the field boundary looked the same height.garyhoney27/08/2012
Walked around field boundary to the top.PaulH29/02/2012
Accessed from the road to the north, followed the field boundary from the mast to the high point of the field. Construction is taking place both north and south of the road of the Seamer Wind Farm, a service road now runs up the other side of the field boundary.yorkie27/02/2012
Fortunately the crop on the top field had been cut so it was easy to reach the true 'summit'signyred25/08/2011
field edge crops just coming through not worth trampling on them.johnfwoolley17/11/2010
don't bag this after the farmer has just muck spread the whole field. my car still stinks or was that andrew brown after his curry.DARRENG18/09/2010
I agree that the top runs from the mast to the field boundary - nothing in it really along this line. It was chest high with Rapeseed when I climbed so pick you timing!simon and co11/05/2010
Field edge from roadside parking.asbown14/03/2009
Park on verge at NZ 482 109, walk round field edge. Agree with Ted's comments below about location (crops planted when we went, but could see no discernable difference in height between field edge and further in). Surprisingly good views of N York Moorswheresthepath08/07/2006
Pulled the car in to a field entrance to the north east. Relieved to see that the field with the high point was uncultivated and easily accessible. Summit appears to be on or near field boundary.Father Ted22/02/2006
