Hadn't realised there were 2 91m high points in Brent so felt compelled to return to the Borough. Nice to arrive to see the two competing street signs either side of the Top - Summit Avenue or Mount View Road!pclyndes31/05/2020
Cycled from Battersea, 37km round trip. Roads terrible in Brent...Rockdoctor09/05/2020

5/11. Somewhere around number 129.Bramley21/01/2020
From the bus stop on Edgware Road, just south of the junction with Wakemans Hill Avenue, west up the Avenue to the pavement outside No. 129Mariana Trench14/09/2019
Run from Wembley Hill HP via Barn Hill HP and Fryent Country Pk pt.62m. Another hill I'm surprised I'd never been to before, esp. as I sometimes used to run to Roe Green/ Salmon Lane from Burnt Oak where I lived for 7 yrs! As with all the 7 Tumps today, views in many directions restricted by buildings, trees etc.pwheeler01/08/2019
Parked at N. end of Summit Avenue (space for 3 or 4 cars before No.1) - Left out of Summit Avenue & about 50yd up to high point which appears to be by manhole covers on junction with Mount View Road. (S)gerrybowes28/07/2019
HP on S side of residential street near 129 Wakeman's Hill Road and junction with Mount View Road NW9. Although of itself unremarkable, the whole day's walk through a diverse array of Wembley and Harrow streets and open spaces was different and interesting.Denise 17/01/2019
Steepest ascent of the day, up road from the W. Summit crossed by road, high point pavement on S side - just.RichardM17/01/2019
Forgettable from a view perspective but always interesting to get to parts of London you wouldn't otherwise visit.jedthehumanoid31/10/2018

Walked from Kingsbury St and then onto Barnet Fc. Felt like a Lakes walk - very windy and absolutely throwing it down.Andrew Pearson30/03/2018

From Kingsbury Station then Barn Hill.clivevilla24/07/2017
An early morning walk from Kingsbury tube along the margins of Roe Green Park, up Highfield Road - passing the architectural fantasia of Buck lane -, avoiding traffic to reach the summit manhole cover (Rob: the time is right for a most prominent manhole covers peak list...) and on to Summit Avenue for the sake of propriety before returning via Buck Lane.Nick Down118/05/2017
Day out on the Tube doing a circuit of the Tumps. From Colindale Tube Station, Wakemans Hill Avenue, Barn Hill and Wembley Hill. Onward via Wembley Park Tube.rhalstead25/02/2017
32.6km bike ride on the Brompton sadly in the pouring rain! Kings Cross to Madia Vale then canal towpath all the way out and followed the cycling routes. Three hills bagged: Wembley Hill, Barn Hill and this one. Thumping it down by the time I reached Wakemans Hill Avneue so cycled back fast down the A5 and recovered with hot chocolate!Fionalevey29/01/2017
Walked up from Kingsbury station Good views back across to Harrow-on-the-Hill from Highfield Avenue. An obvious hill which is a change.Sixtyplus06/09/2016
Parked in nearby Rydal Gardens, walked up from the East with bike to summit, either road by manhole covers or pavement on south side, then free wheeled back down to main road and cycled back to car for drive to Wembley Hill.pdantic30/08/2016

Last of 5 tops walk which started at Harrow 2.5 hours earlier. Could just see Harrow Hill.PeterD19/05/2016
Resisted the urge to park on Summit Ave, getting too passe; but did wander up it despite clearly not the HP. High point seemed to be pavement S side Wakemans Hill Ave, opposite 129, or thereabouts.jonglew04/12/2015
TD C & H by bus. Went to the Masons Arms after. This Dog02/11/2015
Circuit of the 6 Tumps in the area using buses and Tube. Glimpses of view towards Harrow.Mark Jackson19/09/2015
As with others one just has to park in Summit Avenue. I found it an intriguing thing to contemplate the blissful unawareness of the residents of semis 98 & 100 on the north side and 129 & 131 on the south side, that they lived proudly on a tump summit in spectacular and probable total disinterest and bemused ignorance of this fact.vegibagger12/09/2015
Dodging heavy showers on a walking / tube outing of 7 tops. 1 mile walk from Kingsbury tube. Then on foot through an oasis of countryside following the Capital Ring through Freyent Country Park to Barn Hill. Nobody else out walking due to heavy sweeping showers which all missed me - just.Chris Pearson29/06/2015
Manhole cover in junction (as a drainage engineer maybe I am biased...) Parked in Summit Av, had to really.RHW14/12/2014
Disappointing after Sudburysqueegs15/09/2013
Quite a stiff little hill, but not much of a view :-(heavyhorses06/07/2013
On way to Ware after work, called by as just off A5. As interesting as previous visitors indicated. House at high point having extension built to side. Passable impression of builders yard outside.nordicstar12/06/2013
11th of 12 LBTs today and the first top which actually feels like a hill with a climb to get there and obvious feeling of prominence when you get there. Shame all built up. The top is clearly Mount View Road junction. Why on earth did the Council not name this Summit Avenue or Summit Close, both of which are road names lower down the hill!!Hillsidenick14/05/2013
Visited With Darren while trying to visit all the high points on London in one day.magirob10/01/2013

As indicated by others, the two architectural oddities just west of the top are the only features of interest.Smudge25/09/2010
On the way home from Mote End Farms and the two other summits north here. A rater steep accent from the east, and no doubt where the summit is. 4 hours biking trip return.NilsOS19/08/2010
Boring roadside top. But as previously stated, the two houses on opposite sides of the Buck Lane junction are the local highlight.wheresthepath21/02/2010
Added this on to Capital Ring walk starting at Colindale station and finishing at Crouch End.Overthehilljill29/09/2009
Top clear. But could be anywhere - might be at the man hole cover in the middle of the road.destaylor15/07/2008
Very clear where the top is here, between Mount View Road and The Grove! Look out for the strange house at corner of Buck Lane....Nick09/03/2008
