As others parked in the muddy spot NNE near house. Up via track (some newly tramac). Then path to col to Jericho Hill. Took the track zigzag up into wood and over the wall via the horse jump protection. Yup gorse summit, nice. Great views 6/6 | N.Morters | 23/12/2023 |
On a round from Llanfyllin | Moorponder | 23/06/2023 |
From north, near SH 161. R'sOW to bottom of wood, then up beside wall to summit. On to Jericho Hill - worth the small amount of effort. | PGCE | 21/08/2020 |
Parked at start of track near Quarry Cottages at 1691 1975 - Up track to high point at 169200 & then up ridge to edge of woodland - Followed a decent path through wood to wall topped with a wood platform - Over wall & then 25m stroll to summit gorse bush. (S) | gerrybowes | 29/10/2019 |
Squeezed into a muddy parking spot by Quarry Cottages at SJ16901976, gained ROWs via gate at SJ16501960. Tracks led to the nice ridge of this Hump. We noticed gates gave access to Jericho Hill so crossed grazing pastures to an even nicer little ridge, then returned via the old lane and ROW back to start. A pleasant start to a walking weekend with Pete based on Llanrhaedr-ym-Mochnant | pwheeler | 03/05/2019 |
Parked on verge at SJ 16753 19585 and went NNE steeply through open woodland to climb over a low wall (just before it gets higher) not far from the summit to find Rick & Jen. Returned on the W side of the wall - not recommended with high dead bracken, gorse, holes & troughs. | Jim.Fothergill | 23/11/2018 |
HP in gorse on embankment just off track. En route to LLanfyllin Workhouse RHS Meet. | Denise | 23/11/2018 |

From parking at Quarry Cotts to SE of hill on minor road, FP from gate, diagonally to left, then good path up N by wall. Break over into woods to avoid gorse. Spotted Jim Fothergill approaching too. More direct line back down through the woods past old farm steading to start | nordicstar | 23/11/2018 |
