From the Rumbling Bridge CP. Along Forest Road then FP/Bike route then over brash to Creag Bheag. Between wall and fence to Creag an Eunaich. Wall and fence post line to Creag Dhubh and Elrick Beg, then on to Elrick More using tree break to get onto Forestry Road before heading up over brash and heather. Back to CP along Roads, hopping up to Creag an Uamhaidh en route. 5hrs. | summitter | 23/02/2023 |
On long walk between Ballinluig and Birnam. Up from Loch Shiach, beside new deer fence and through burned heather stalks. Nice boulder but the cairn is clearly old and a delight in its own right | Colin Crawford | 08/04/2022 |

Followed snowy forest roads round from Creag an Uamhaidh in order to ascend. Much forestry work in the vicinity of the hill. | JohnW | 11/04/2018 |
From Dalguise, left car at 990472 and directly up through the forest, steep but otherwise easy. From the high point of the track at 9863 4716, a mountain bike trail leads on upwards above the south bank of the burn, dodging the fallen trees, to a higher track at 983470 (305m). Continued on tracks to 967467 then cut across felled area and up onto the summit heath. Returned via a detour to Elrick Beag, starting at 970468. | Topographer57 | 03/12/2017 |
Started at Kinnaird making my way to Craig Lochie. At the bend in the road up through deep heather, over the deer fence, 100m of brash then made my way to the boulder summit (near the big cairn) without having to enter the forest. | NormanW | 30/09/2017 |

#5 of 6 from Rumbling Br car pk. After Elrick Beg, followed old fenceline NW, across boggy col with tall mast, steeply up thru open forest, moderate windthrow. Summit boulder N of ancient cairn. Back same way to Beg, then back via Uamhaidh | RHW | 13/11/2016 |

Lots of fallen trees on direct route from Elrick Beg. Not very good to be honest. Descent north then east was better - steep at first then a bit of a path through felled area and back to track. | alda | 09/02/2016 |
