Used car park near Auchlean, Glen Feshie. Mullach Clach a'Bhlair, Carn Ban Mor and Sgor Gaoith on good tracks. Very windy with cloud base progressively rising to 1000m during the day. The Mullach was my 100th Munro, celebrated with a rainbow appearing to the NW! With Gillian | richard69 | 10/10/2023 |
From Sgor Gaoith on good tracks. Ford at NN894948 required a 500m detour upstream/west to cross. Small quartzite cairn on top. generally windy and rainy but cleared and dried up on top and for return to Glen Feshie carpark, N of Auchlean. solo. | Denise | 07/10/2023 |

Overcast, drizzle, light rain, hail, clear blue skies, gentle breeze - most weather bases covered today!!! Glen Feshie beautiful with the heather in bloom & strongly scented. | Neily There | 05/08/2022 |

OMC weekend meet at Mill Cottage, Feshiebridge.
On Saturday I headed up Glen Feshie to bag Mullach Clach a' Bhlair (1019m, my 170th Munro), with Ian McCabe, Davy Sadler and Dave Monteith.
It was hard going, especially through the snow above 900m. Blue skies all around with amazing views, 07:45hrs all in.
Had a look at newly refurbished bothy as well, Ruigh Aiteachain. | chillyman8 | 19/03/2022 |
Anti-clockwise loop from car park near Auchlean, long walk in along stunning Glen Feshie, ascending after the bothy up to Druim nam Bo, and then up to the munro summit, and back down the main track, and the long but pleasant walk back out.

Not much snow left on the lower slopes, but some crusty snow above 800m - clag at around 900m resulting in some whiteout conditions, nav corrections required but no dramas.

Total time from car back to car, 5h 45min. | mproudfoot | 13/02/2022 |

42 - Up from Glen Feshie to bag the two Westernmost Carigorm Munros. The plateau is pretty dull, but great views down to the Loch, and across to Braeriach and beyond. Long walk back through the Glen - note the bridge to the lodge no longer there. | huwthomas | 07/08/2017 |
Parked at Auchlean, climbed to Carn Ban Mor, across to Sgor Gaoith, then back to Carn Ban Mor before heading across to Mullach Clach a Bhair via bulldozed track, then took Bulldozed track back down to Glen Feshie Lodge before returning to Auchlean along the river. | gandrew | 06/08/2017 |
From Auchlean car park then over to Sgor Gaoith then to here. Descended via track. 7hrs approx | garyhoney | 26/06/2017 |
Auchlean car park - Carn Ban Mor - Sgor Gaoith - Mullach Clach a'Bhlair. Clear day with great views accross plateau. | wozzat | 26/06/2017 |
From Achlean then easily up the bulldozed track to the cloud free summit although the base was not much above the summit. On the return I went up Meall nan sleac then North West to join the path about a mile South of Achlean. With the short cut I caught a couple of lads up that I had met when I was a mile from the summit as they descending. They gave me a weird look. 11.5 miles in 3 hrs 55 mins. | isabelle | 01/06/2017 |

With Sgor Gaoith - route as on Steve Fallon website. Long flat plateau between the two. Mist, so no view from top. Featureless summit. Decent walk - but better in clear weather. | Norman Reid | 20/10/2013 |
With Mags/Margaret Dave, Norman, Elspeth and Chatty man who embarrassed himself. Wet, and boggy walk between the two peaks. Dubious short to car. Unexpectedly spectacular view at the top. | Rodge | 20/10/2013 |
Solo. | Dangerous Dave | 01/10/2013 |
With AGS school reunion party. Stayed at the very excellent Glenfeshie hostel. Lovely day with great walking on very dry underfoot conditions. Quite a long way to Mullach but a fantastic descent to Feshie made up for bagging this again . Good night in the hostel with veggie curry and pleny rose wine ! | slynch | 28/09/2013 |
Biked from car park to summit, great single track on the way out/in and a good track all they to the top. A fast descent made up for the lack of views at the top. Done in roughly 2hrs 30mins. | FCMark | 22/09/2013 |
Weather not to hot, at times a fairly stiff breeze. Well made landrover track, but no grouse butts? This munro did not feel like a munro, a walk up the track sometimes steep but not overly then a rounded hill that looked more like a place to gently roll your easter eggs. | LizzieG | 14/08/2013 |
Mullach Clach a'Bhlair, Meall nan Sleac, NT and Carn Ban More from Auchlean. | rhalstead | 28/06/2013 |

Had to make crossing as no Carnachuin bridge - rain previous meant fast river! :D Pushed bike most of way to summit up track, hard going! From Auchlean and along a precarious path east of the River Feshie in the drizzle. Picked up the track and headed eastwards up the mountain. Found the cairn that signified the route southwards up from the track. Cloud remained down and mountain still dappled in the snow that fell earlier in the week. | Windy Corner | 05/10/2008 |

With two friends. We cycled up Glen Feshie to the bothy at NN846928. We left the cycles at the bothy and walked up the path starting just S of the bothy. Initially it was a rather steep vehicle track which petered out and had not been used for some time. It may be that the vehicle track does not follow the line of the path. We struck across the hillside to find a small path which was followed up Creag na Gaibhre, where there is a nicely built cairn. We stopped briefly there. We continued to Druim nam Bò, passing south and east of Lochan Nam Bò. We continued to the summit of Mullach Clach a' Bhlà ir and took in Meall nan Sleac on the descent. | pwbellarby | 16/11/2007 |

With Shaky & Smithy from beautiful Glen Feshie. Walked past Auchlean & joined the bulldozed track for a quick but uninteresting ascent of Mullach Clach a'Bhlair. Mist hanging around the summit. Continued over its N top, Carn Ban Mor to Sgor Gaoith. Mist had cleared to reveal the great view although it drifted back in again by the time we had continued to Sgoran Dubh Mor. Completed the tops by visiting Meall Buidhe & Geal-charn dropping SW to join a path leading back to the glen, a little to N of our starting point. | NotReallyABagger | 28/05/2001 |

Me leading small school group (3 or 4 teenagers). 8th & 9th we had hiked over Lairig Ghru and camped by the (old) Garbh Choire refuge, in dreadful blizzard conditions with the wind in our faces both ways - grim! I think I even paid for them all to stay in a hotel in Inverness on 9th. So on 10th we left minibus at Kincraig (risk of getting snowbound on minor road) and hiked all the way to Ruigh Aiteachain, and ascended this Munro in cold & wind but a few moments of clearance! | NorfolkPT21 | 10/04/1998 |

Prominent in the view from our breakfast table in Kingussie was Coire Garbhalach. We were delighted to get up there from Achlean, then continue to Mullach Clach a'Bhlair. On the sunny day we chose, this summit was a delight- huge patches of snow filling all the hollows on the mossy moor, brilliant light the atmosphere of the arctic- which is what it is really. Things got even better later as we went over Sgor Goaith. | pwheeler | 22/05/1994 |

With friends. From Achlean in Glen Feshie. Walked along the riverside, crossing to the west side of the bridge and continuing to Carnachuin. Went along the track which runs across the north side of Allt Coire Chaoil. Near the plateau we followed a compass bearing to the summit of Mullach Clach a’ Bhlàir, since it was very misty and it was not possible to determine where the track was due to snow cover. We returned the same way initially, but then directly down to Allt Coire Chaoil, crossing it to join the track. This was done because of intense cold, and the strong wind blowing straight at us. | pwbellarby | 28/02/1993 |
