From Glen Feshie for a round of Geal-charn, Meall Buidhe, Sgoran Dubh Mor, Tom Dubh and Meall Dubhag.rhalstead08/09/2021
Saturday 14th I cycled in from Linn of Dee car park and pitched my tent at the edge of some trees approx. 3km east of the ruined Geldie Lodge. Sunday 15th I headed north on foot ascending the boggy slopes up to the Munro Top of Carn Cloich-mhuilinn (942m). The traverse over to the Munro of Beinn Bhrotain (1157m) was mainly along a path. There was a boulder field to descent before the pathed ascent up to Monadh Mor (1113m), the second Munro of the day, I then ascended the Munro Top of Tom Dubh (918m). From here I descend back to the Allt Luineag and followed this south(ish), then down the east bank of the River Eidart. This section of the walk was brutal, as I had left Tom Dubh at 15:10 and there was no path / break in the bog, so I constantly concerned about the remaining time, in between the heavy showers. Eventually I reached the Glen Feshie to Braemar path and then ‘raced’ to get back to the tent before sunset, having a much earned cup of tea at 20:35, almost 11hrs after startingchillyman815/08/2021
Solo. Achlean to Tom Dubh, Monadh Mor and Beinn Bhrotain. Heavy rain forecast in the morning but light showers in the afternoon. Summit intermittently clear on Tom Dubh but cloud down on the two munros. Strong winds dropping towards the end. Views much of the way out and back.meltdiceburg06/08/2021

Parked N of Balachroick, taking path E and then up NNE to beallach below Creag Mhigeachaidh. Climbed Creag Mhigeachaidh, return to beallach and then Geal-charn, Meall Buidhe, and steady climb to Sgoran Dubh Mor. Pleasant high level traverse to Sgor Gaoith, with excellent views. Then Carn Ban Mor, Tom Dubh and out and back to Carn na Criche. Then Meall Dubhag, a slightly misjudged traverse to reach Carn Ban Mor West Top, Carn Ban Beag, descent to track running below W side of Creag Ghiuthsachan and return to start. Hot dry conditons.RobertP15/07/2021

A rapid there and back route covering Monadh Mor and Beinn Bhrotain from Glen Feshie (via Tom Dubh) with Harrison. Warm on the initial ascent but 30-35mph gusty wind above 900m so we didn't stop apart from a minute or two at each summit. 81.25 miles, 1510m ascent - total time 6h 25minmproudfoot12/06/2021

Walked in Thurs 20th from Gen Feshie to camp on Tom Dubh. Wake on solstice to total silence, wind free. First sound is a bird song, then tumbling water as I cross first stream up to Cairn Toul. Wisps of cloud hang like a jellyfish with numerous tendrils hanging down, above Beinn Bhrotain to the south. CT for the third time SaLU for the second time and as I head for the Braeriach plateau, frustratingly a bank of cloud rolls over. Meet Canadian guy, Mark in the clagg, we wander the plateau a little disorientated towards eastern cliffs. Quite a bit of confusion and uncertainty, eventually get there, mist is thinning. As we part, I head further NE towards my northern Murdo. Hot and clear by this time. On way back I contour round the western edge of the plateau look down into Loch Coire an Lochain and across tops to Carn na Criche. I've longed to return to Braeriach in summer with no clag, since age 13 in June with my dad, plateau covered in snow and clagged in. A joyous day today indeed.vegibagger20/06/2013

I cycle from Linn of Dee to beyond White Bridge. I struck uphill beyond the pine plantation on the west side of the Dee. Over a couple of minor tops to Carn Cloich-mhuilinn then onwards to Beinn Bhrotain and Monadh Mor. Finally I went out to the oddly obscure Munro Top Tom Dubh. I retrace my steps over Monadh Mor and Beinn Bhrotain but took a more direct line back to the track in Glen Dee.langskill27/08/2010

Solo. After Geal-charn, Meall Buidhe, Sgòran Dubh Mòr, Sgor Gaoith and Carn Bàn Mòr. I went to Tom Dubh. The top is very flat and it is difficult to distinguish the highest point from several candidates, which were all visited. Continued to reach the summit of Monadh Mòr before returning over the summit of Meall Dubhag. Went down the path to Achlean and walked along the road to reach the car. The weather was good.pwbellarby10/09/1995
