Sketchy path across from former summit (and Marilyn/Corbett), we had good visibility but in mist navigation would be tricky. Ben Avon continued clear, and distant views of Rinnes, Drochaide, Mount Keen, but Lochnagar not clear till later.NorfolkPT2120/03/2024

Having climbed Carn Liath in 1998 there was some doubt whether I had walked over to do the revised new highest point at the time to claim the Corbett and given that I have made plans for doing my last Corbett in few months time I didn't want to leave any doubt as to whether I had been to the real top!! It still looks lower than Carn Liath but hey ho what the hell do I know!! That's it done now and definitely just one more left now.Jossker03/03/2023

Culardoch and Creag an Dail Bheag from Keiloch. Pleasant walk in in ever-changing conditions - sun, then clouds, then some drizzle, though calm down on the track and windy on the tops. Not the most exciting hills, but a good wee walk - 5h 32min total time.mproudfoot12/06/2022

From Culardoch. Faint path over Carn Liath. Fairly good going, very dry, thin heather, mostly small stones. Returned to the main track back over Carn Liath, joining the track at about 600m asl. Then a very pleasant and easy walk back to Keiloch.Owen B19/04/2022
Climbed with Richard, mixed day quite windy and poor visibility/snow on topamcculloch14/02/2022

With Sue from car park at Ke1loch, cycle along estate roads to Bealach Dearg. climb E should to summit of Carn Liath. Working off old 222 Corbett list, adding new surveyed. Walked two tops (Creag an Dail Beheag) and returned to Bealach and ascend Cullardoch. Return same way to bikes.Frank19/09/2021
The navigation from Carn Liath in the low cloud was a little tricky. Just as well I had a GPS as there is a cairn a few hundred yards short of the top and the cairn at the top is much smaller perched on a mini rock tor. Cloud was beginning to clear as I left the summit. The young couple caught up with me at the summit but they were returning by a different route - I had to retrace my steps to pick up the bike.langskill26/06/2021

Magnificent sunny day with patches of new snow. Super views of the big hills. Plenty wildlife. Big walk for us on the day. I think this new summit should still be called called Carn Liath as the Craig refers to a crag down in the valley.GWR Chris07/05/2021

From Keiloch, up the Slugain to the second ford, bulldozed track to its high point then towards Meall Dorch, joining an ATV track, then deer tracks towards Meall an t-Slugain, bogs, then heather to summit but nice tundra walk down and over Carn na Craoibhe Seileich. Joined wrecked ATV track lower down to Eag Dubh then up rough stuff, easy on ridge to Creag an Dail Bheag, over Carn Liath and down easily at first, then long heather to join awful path at col below Creag a' Chait. Deer track gives easy way up through short heather to summit. Down is mainly easy going, then across Allt Dourie to ATV track and gate, then track to the Stables and back to Keiloch.Gill213/04/2021

With Culardoch. Cycled from Keilloch to high point of track. V windy, showers missed me (just), many other summits in cloud, but both my hills clear (and Morrone). Occasional weak sunshine. Rounsfell28/10/2020

Walked over from Carn Liath and covered all highpoints. Back to Keiloch via the Simm - Creag a'Chait. Solo.bolton14/09/2020
Despite knowing the results of the survey to the contray I would still lose good money betting that the old summit is higher - such is the nature of the undulating multi top summit plateau. In fact a fellow walker asked if we were doing all 7 tops - I now know what she meant -as there are a lot of possible candidates -each feeling like the highest -until the next is reached.Chris Pearson06/09/2020
