Standard out and back Queens view route with a twist 22km with elizyanneGmacT02/04/2017
From the carpark for the Queen Victoria viewpoint and along an estate track through pleasant wooded hills to the open and bare slopes. Obviously a grouse shooting estate so access could be a problem in the shooting season. Impressive views of the Cairngorms from the summit.Peterb15/03/2017
Same start point and route as reported by others. (Route shown at: http://gayleybird.blogspot.co.uk/2016/05/cnap-chaochan-aitinn-nj-146099-715m.html)Gayle19/05/2016
Solo walk from the Glenavon car park at 164176. Twelve and a quarter miles taking four and three quarters hours. Good going on a track that was generally clear of snow from recent falls. The bulldozed road now goes just west of the summit.bolton17/02/2016
From the Queens View CP. Out along tracks w Jenx to Auchnahyle bridge, then track up past Gaulrig and into the snow and ice. Followed track as snow deepened and battled on until the summit reached. Weather station turned out to probably be a Mtn Rescue comms relay post. Back same way, whole route in just under four hours.nordicstar21/01/2016
Great wintry adventure.jenx21/01/2016
Cycled from Delnabo to Dalestie but no trace of the footbridge shown on all but the most recent maps. Back to bridge at Auchnahyle, good tracks all the way to the summit, to where I rode and pushed my bicycle. Morning temperature in Boat of Garten was -1C and I had to scrape the frost off my car. On the summit it was about +15C.Topographer5701/10/2015
