Parked near Wester Aberchalder for a 38km circuit of 12 summits, including 8 Simms. 10/12PGCE05/04/2023
Parked at the end of the minor road to Garthbeg and walked out on the windfarm track to a new bridge at NH52153 16297. (This involved looping back to gain the track on the opposite side, so on the way back we continued straight down to Garthbeg.) On up the track, eventually to just beyond the substation S of Carn na Saobhaidhe, then up easily to the summit. Continued in a loop back over Beinn Mheadhoin and Carn Choire Riabhaich.LizH26/08/2022
From end of public road at Lochan Killin. Initially on tracks but then easy but pathless going most of way out and back. First over Carn Ruigh na Creadha then easily on to Carn na Saobhaidhe. stream crossing not a problem either way. Back through bealach to east of first top.dickscroop01/06/2022
Turbine-tasctic monotonous walk from Garthbeg. Started with a long, dusty road to Carn na Saobhaidhe (604m) then Carn na Saobhaidhe (811m). So dull they named it twice. There-and-back to Carn Mhic lamhair, NW to Beinn Bhuraich, down to Meall a' Bhuailt, and homeward bound via Beinn Mheadhoin and Carn Choire Riabhaich. Okay in sunny, dry conditions. Would be horrible if wet and overcast as minimal visual and topographical interest. 7 hrs.summitter05/06/2021
3 of 3: From Meall a Bhuailt. Both HPs. Easily down to windfarm building, then track back to Garthbeg. With Karen.ChrisR27/09/2020
After Carn a' Choire Riabhaich and Beinn Mheadhoin, some awkward terrain between. Down to meet wind farm trackColin Crawford13/07/2018
From NW, peewit and curlew in fields at start, small detour enroute to Laraiche. Perched boulder is hp, W summit a foot lower than its Base, cairn lower still. Descended S to pick up old track heading SE for Sheilich.RHW30/03/2018
