Evening walk from the start of track of B862. Easy walk up to the top, bit wet in places. Great view of the sunset and over Loch Ness from the west top. | PiranhaFish | 05/08/2023 |
from car park west end of Loch Ceo Glais | BLACKHILL | 18/05/2022 |
Parked opposite the mast track. A steep start but a quick hill with fab views. | curlebd | 01/05/2022 |
Parked on wide verge on B862 (ca NH592291), walked to start of mast track (NH597298) and followed that to the summit (super views), returning mostly same way (upper section has two parallel tracks SW from NH593298: used the lower going up, the upper coming back, the latter may be easier and drier) (1h40m) | kdbennett | 02/04/2022 |
Parked by the causeway at the SW end of Loch Duntelchaig and followed the road and track to the masts. The second of two cairns to the NW gives a view over Loch Ness. | Nick Down1 | 07/09/2021 |
Followed the track to the masts. Steep and rough in places; boggy bits near the top. Dry day; good views. Start 14:05; finish 15:10 | dbb | 23/06/2021 |
Up n doon the access track. | summitter | 31/08/2020 |
1 of 4: Parked at the bottom of the mast road: ice rink. Track snowy and icy. Ice falling from mast so didn't stay too long and continued over to the cairn. | ChrisR | 12/12/2019 |
Via mast track, under reconstruction, very muddy. Still the easiest way and promises to be good! | iangalbraith | 04/11/2019 |
Even more eroded track to summit. Great views. | Play2End | 07/09/2019 |
Access track to mast badly eroded by heavy rain but still easy access if walking. | dave g | 20/08/2019 |
Trig visit | chalky1953 | 12/03/2019 |
Parked near the start of the access track to the mast on the summit of Tom Bailgeann. Went up the access track to the trig point at the summit. This is rather damp high up. Continued to the West Top going up the north ridge. Returned same way. Milder than of late and clear, so good views of Loch Ness etc. | pwbellarby | 12/12/2018 |
Walked up mast access track. Very steep and rutted; fortunately gate was locked otherwise would have (unwisely) been tempted to (try to) take the car up. Trig pillar marks the HP. On to the West Top. | jonglew | 16/09/2018 |
Late afternoon, second short hill run up the obvious rough mast track. Fine views up and down the Great Glen, esp Kessock Bridge. | N.Morters | 14/09/2018 |
Start of a holiday, bagged after our journey from Manchester. Easy bag parked at the bottom of the access road. Not a pretty summit with its ephemera but excellent views. | briandavies | 19/04/2018 |
A quick and easy tick up the track to the ugly summit. Nice views though. | Gill | 31/03/2018 |
Via miry track from road to ENE. | Smudge | 22/12/2017 |
Parked near start of track. Then used access track to top. Would pay good money to see white van man reach top on that track. | garyhoney | 30/06/2017 |
Parked almost opposite access track and followed track to the summit. | wozzat | 30/06/2017 |
Simple up and down from access track. Unusual view of Loch Ness and the Great Glen. | benalder284 | 27/05/2017 |
Followed the track up from 596296 for most of the way then up directly through the heather to the trig and then visited the summit. Great views of Loch Ness and beyond. | Peterb | 28/02/2017 |
Doing the trig. Cracking hill and a lovely blue sky snowy day. | BigJ | 27/02/2017 |

#571 Up the transmitter track, into the clag... Top section of track very boggy and not worth following on the down! Did I say no views? | tim747 | 18/03/2016 |
MC. Climbed on the landie track which starts to the east of the hill. Best not to park at the entrance to the track but 100 yards further to the north where there is a broad passing place. Steep climb up the rough track. Holding a little snow. Up and down in just under 1 hour. Strong and bitter south wind on top. Good views to Inverness | Martin66 | 18/02/2016 |
W Jenx. Parked at juntion of the mast track with road and strolled up and back in just over the hour. Cairn top nearby has the views. | nordicstar | 14/01/2016 |
Easy walk up using the mast track. | jenx | 14/01/2016 |

Here for the trigpoint and geocaching event. TP:UK log:

Steep track to this one but worth it for the views, very windy at the top and what a racket the wind makes round the mast. After a chat with the other trig eventers it was off down the hill and home to a warm cuppa! | thejackrustles | 02/01/2015 |
Track up from the road. | Adrian | 16/06/2014 |
Directly up from Loch Ceo Glais, steep but quick. | Chris Peart | 14/05/2014 |

Up track to mast and summit | AndrewFinnimore | 30/09/2013 |
Did after coming off 'Creag nan Clag' opposite side of little loch. Straight up the handy track on NE slope, bit tricky coming down the southern most shoulder to join the road; waist high bracken, heather hidden rocks and an unforgiving gradient. | Columba | 29/06/2013 |
Parked to ENE at start of rough track with gate just S of road junction. Track all way to TP next to large mast. Also subsidiary summit 80m away with cairn. | Aye Jimmy | 24/10/2011 |
