From Aberarder car park. Clockwise circuit of the three Creag Meagaidh Munros ascending through The Window.welshyboyo04/01/2020
Climbed from Aberarder car park to do the Creag Meagaidh circuit, with Carn Laith first, Stob Poite Coire Ardair then Creag Meagaidh, retuning down the Coire Ardair path from The Window. Once above Na Cnapanan, very thick mist pretty much throughout with very strong winds. Meet Richard on the summit of Carn Laith, thankfully we teamed up to do the other two in the circuit, as without his GPS I would have turned back to the car park. 07:10 hrs all in.chillyman805/10/2019

From Aberarder, followed path past the farmhouse, through the Coill' a'Choire woods then up slopes to E, eventually finding a track near a line of old iron fence posts that led onto the ridge a short way NW of Na Cnapanan, then continued on to summit of Carn Liath. Turned W and followed line of ridge all the way along to Stob Poite Coire Ardair, decent to 'Window', then up on to plateau E of Carn Meagaidh and across this to the summit, returning E and SE to Puist Coire Ardair and along E ridge to Sron a' Choire, descending along Allt Bealach a' Choire to ATV track and bridge across river near Aberarderkdbennett08/10/2017

Cairngorm Club weekend meet based at Newtonmore. With fellow club member. From car park near Aberarder Farm along footpath to Coire Ardair. Quite a lot of old railway sleepers have been put down on the path – especially on boggy parts. Has allowed immediately adjacent areas to regenerate. Climbed Rayburn’s Gully with good crampon snow throughout. About half was done without belaying. Cornice had partly fallen away, and another formed so there was a crevasse-like fissure between them. We were able to climb over the lip into the fissure, and moving horizontally in the fissure before emerging easily on to the plateau. Walked across to the summit of Creag Meagaidh, mostly on snow. Went over to the summit of Stob Poite Coire Ardair and descended by the Window where there was much snow. A beautiful day with blue skies.pwbellarby06/03/1993

1985-1986-1987 Climbed Creag Meagaidh, it's two Munro outliers to the east of it, and various tops one Autumn day with Dad. Thinking back, it seems difficult to justify the additional Munros to the east, the main differentiation being distance rather than any kind of drop.spstrachanblank
