Parked just inside the Carrick Castle Estate gates and followed vehicle tracks almost to Lochan nan Cnaimh, then up through deep vegetation to the top. On to Sgurr a'Choinnich. Returned by virtually same route.NormanW14/01/2024
From Lochgoilhead via Lettermay, forest track then mapped path. Latter has suffered from windthrow in a couple of places. Ground conditions, weather and time forced me to turn before reaching Sgurr a'Choinnichbenalder28413/01/2024
Good track from just short of Carrick Castle all the way to the lochan. Can't go wrong but if inn do8bt look for the blue markers. Then swung round west then south, failed to find path shown on map but there were some marker post. Nothing to commend it as a route so on return headed straight down towards hut at end of lochan, a much pleasanter line and would have been better as an ascent route though a bit steeper.dickscroop01/03/2023
