10:30, 17 degrees, sunny, calm. Path from road south of Lochan Bhealach Rarsaidh. Hot work initially but then in shade of trees, including ancient woodland. Paused at the lochan and chatted to a walker coming down: he'd set out at 8. Enjoyable ascent on Beinn Sgritheall's west ridge; wisps of cloud higher up making it cooler. Nice stroll from Beinn Sgritheall's summit to the NW Top, where I sat down for a snack. Descended SE, then followed the cirque round and down the NW ridge, which was a better walk than I had anticipated. Interesting to see the other bits of Beinn Sgritheall. On to Beinn a' Chapuill. | Wycombe Wanderer | 05/06/2023 |

From Arnisdale, following signed path to Bealach Arnasdail, then up ridge to East top, along to main summit of Beinn Sgritheall, across to Northwest top, descended SW to meet path on west ridge and followed that down to Lochan Bhealaich Rarsaidh, then approx S to coast road along track (which doesn't follow the line marked on the 1:25000), returning to Arnisdale along road | kdbennett | 21/10/2017 |

Climbed Beinn Sgitheall solo from Arnisdale, including the East Top and NW Top. Ample parking in village. Lovely path up to Bealach Arnasdail. Bouldery climb to E top. Great though short ridge walk from there to the main summit, which is a stupendous viewpoint overlooking Loch Hourn, Skye and the hills of Knoydart and Kintail. After bagging the NW top, I traversed back to the West Ridge for the descent. The last bit through Coille Mhialairigh woods to the Arnisdale road is awkward as I lost the very faint path and ended up fighting through some steep and very overgrown hillside! Weather was fine - no wind, sunny earlier in the day, but clouding up later (mist settled on the summits, but after I left). Was plagued by midges at times, and a swarm of flying ant-like insects at the summit (one of whom bit me!). Nonetheless, a very fine isolated Munro and much recommended! | jamessteel100 | 17/08/2016 |

Almost missed this one in the mist! With DW. The clag cleared briefly and we spotted the Top; we had been on top of another mound that we thought was the Top. Careless (and unacceptable!) navigation. With Beinn S and the two nearby Corbetts. | AGWilliamson | 22/09/2011 |

Hot, sunny spells, windy on top, excellent views. | iangalbraith | 04/06/2008 |
Solo. RBS HWC weekend at Ratagan, Kintail. Both the ascent from Arnisdale and the descent from the western end of the hill were alarmingly steep. A beautiful blue sky day with views out to the Outer Hebrides. I left my rucsack whilst I wandered out to bag the North-West Top and had some difficulty finding it again against the stones on the summit plateau. | langskill | 24/05/2008 |
