Circuit of Sgurr a' Mhaoraich and tops. Sgurr Coire nan Eiricheallach, Sgurr a' Mhaoraich, steep drop and then very steep climb to Am Bathaich. Continued to Sgurr Thionail and descended E ridge to Glen Quoich. Intermittent sunshine and showers with some excellent views down Loch Hourn and to the S Glen Shiel ridge.RobertP30/05/2022

From Glen Shiel via Bealach Duibh Leac. Straightforward contour round to the Loch but we missed the lower part of an unmarked path which starts at ca 980093. Although indistinct in places this was useful for final part of ascent and then the descent.Tony S29/08/2020

fine hill, v fine aspect from S, fine view. circuit acw from Coiresubh, descent W OK RHW01/08/2004
Parked at the roadside to NW of Loch Coire Shubh. I climbed up to Sgùrr a’ Mhaoraich Beag, surprised to find there was a path for most of the way. Continued to the summit of Sgùrr a’ Mhaoraich. I went northwards over quite complex terrain. It was a bit misty. Reached the Corbett top of Sgùrr Thionail. Returned southwards for a bit and then crossed a corrie floor and climbed up to the 892m top of Am-Bàthaich. This top, which is the only top of Am-Bàthaich to have a height marked on the OS 1:50,000 map, is not the highest point of Am-Bàthaich. This is further along the summit ridge in a direction WSW. I followed the ridge to the highest point. I could see clearly that this was the highest point. I continued to the col between Sgùrr a’ Mhaoraich and Sgùrr a’ Mhaoraich Beag and eventually found my ascent route and followed it back to the car.pwbellarby09/08/2003
circuit from about a mile from Kinlochourn up west ridge of the still alight, smouldering and smoking slopes of Sgurr a' Mhaorich 1027m. It was burning downhill. Head north to Am Bathaich 899m and regret having not brought my crampons and axe as northern slopes have patches of steep and hard snow. Great views across to Buidhe Bheinn which I'd hoped to include in a horseshoe. Up to Thionail and heading steeply down realise I've neither the time nor the energy for Buidhe Bheinn today. Little did I know it's ascent would be 17 years away.vegibagger06/04/1996
with Sgurr a'Mhaoraich- plenty of time to go on this outlier, we had no idea of Humps and Marilyns in 1993, just looked like (and was) a good mountain to add to the day.pwheeler23/05/1993
Round of Spidean Mialach, Gleouraich and Sgurr a'Mhaoraich then to lift from Cluannie road.Eddie26/05/1991
