Camped at Cluanie and did the ridge from Creag a Mhaim but continued to Sgurr na Sgine (ascending straight up the face) and dropped down to Glen Shiel via Faochaog. Had left bike at the road, but still tried to hitch. Gave up and cycled back to Cluanie as midges were biting.jigglybones29/05/2019

South Glen Shiel ridge with DW and SL. Weather good.AGWilliamson24/09/2011
Long day on South Shiel rigde. Generally overcast, but cloud-free Munros plus views, only a brief rain on the penultimate Munro. I parked at the Glenshiel battle site and caught the service bus (£5.80) to Cluanie. I tagged along behind another pair of walkers and spoke to them a couple of times along the way; they opted for a direct approach to Creag a'Mhaim whilst I continued up the track to the end of the ridge. A good time 2.5 hours to Creag a'Mhaim but subsequently slowed down with each successive re-ascent, but good time overall. The descent from NE ridge of Creag nan Damh is not as striaghtforward as the SMC guide suggests and indeed the last bit through the wood close to road was horrible and involved some controlled drops/slides for the last 10-20 feet. I did not drink enough during the day and choice of food was not great - need to rectify.langskill27/06/2011

Following the ridge to this minor top. Met the first group of people coming the other way, seemingly confused about the number of Monros on the ridge, and as to how many they'd done yet!Edgemaster16/04/2011

Solo. With help of friend positioned my car where Allt Mhàlagain is crossed by A87 road in Glen Shiel. Started walking at Cluanie Inn and did the South Cluanie ridge. I walked along the old road to where it crosses Allt Giubhais. I climbed up to Coirean Eich Bhric and to the col NW of Creag a’ Mhàim. Climbed up the ridge to the summit of Creag a’ Mhàim. Then went back down the ridge and along to Druim Shionnach, Aonach air Chrith, Maol Chinn-dearg, Sgùrr Coire na Feinne, Sgùrr an Doire Leathain, Sgùrr an Lochain, Sgùrr Beag, Creag nan Damh. Descended over Sgùrr a’ Chuilinn to reach the road a little short of where my car was.pwbellarby21/05/2000
