With John from track by Cluanie Inn. Straight up the track to pt 436 and then crossed the bog and headed east until a direct line SE up to the summit area. Tapped both trig and cairn, stopped briefly for some photos and a snack/drink (freezing wind at the top did not encourage a long stay), then headed back down the same route. Fairly wet underfoot after the track, with light snow on the ground above 600m. Total time 4h 37min.mproudfoot05/03/2023

With Rhona, Heather, Struie & Hoy from track nr Cluanie Inn. Out & back. Aborted linear walk west to east over summit and sub summits because high deer gate at east end 214092 was locked and we had dogs. No way of sneaking them under the fence. Beware. So we had x2 cars and no need.DampandDusty24/02/2023
parking east of Cluanie Inn. Easy by bike to a few 100m beyond high point in road. 22km. 3hours.jef20/05/2022
Usual route from parking east of Cluanie Inn, up the track to 435m asl then pathless east. On return saved about 1km by aiming for the bend on the road at the 390m contour. Mostly very dry underfoot after five days of high pressure, making for good progress.Owen B26/08/2021
From the parking area near the Inn. With the Electro up to the 436m point. Under 4 hours and 11.5 miles solo. Reasonable underfoot after the dry weather.bolton11/07/2021
