Left car about 4.30 am up road to Glendessary lodge, up over pass into Glen Kingie - sun beginning to rise to my right. I picked my way through col and followed tracks down to River Kingie, crossed and took stalkers path going west which graudal rises in big zig zag to col before Sgurr Beag. I was on the ridge by 8.07, views started to open up, e.g. of Sgurr na Ciche. Up and over Sgurr Beag via extensive zig zags, then down to the col before Sgurr Mor. I picked my way via path up Sgurr Mor. Views all round including Loch Quoich.langskill26/05/2017

Morning out to Sgurr Mor from Kinbreak bothy. Cornices needed circumventing all along the ridge. Missed it 08Jul94. Contoured underneath en route from Sgurr nan Coireachan to Sgurr Fhuarain then back over Sgurr Mor and down to Loch Cuaich and up to to tent on path to Mam Unndalain (Sgurr a'Choire-bheithe). Stag challenging entrance and somebody else camped with 500 metres when I arrived. You just can't get the hills to yourself!Eddie16/03/2008

With friend. After ascending Fraoch Bheinn and Sgùrr Còs na Breachd-laoidh descended to the col with An Eag and then contoured to reach the stalkers’ path which passes over Sgùrr Beag to reach the summit of Sgùrr Mòr. We left the summit and went down to the col with Sgùrr Beag and then straight down to Glen Kingie. Joined the stalkers’ path to Glen Dessary. No rain. Weather improved in the evening. An excellent day.pwbellarby20/07/1996

From Sgurr Mor, an excellent ridge walk on a fine day. See Sgurr Mor for log of the over-ambitious walk to Sourlies- this section showed us just how serious it was! With Petepwheeler24/05/1993
With Shaky from the dam. With full packs, climbed over Gairich & Gairich Beag first dropping down the excellent stalkers path on the W side of the latter. Then NW to the col between Meall a'Choire Bhuidhe & Sgurr an Fhurain to pick up the path up its N ridge. Followed the ridge W over Sgurr Mor & Sgurr Beag before dropping into Glen Kingie to meet Martin66 & camped in the glen. The weather had turned nasty the following morning, so we headed off down beautiful Glen Kingie back to the dam. Epic!NotReallyABagger13/04/1993
