Halterburn- Staerough Hill- Sunnyside Hill- Wildgoose Hill- Latchly Hill- Halterburn. A must for our week in Kirk Yetholm and just as attractive as it looked in views from afar. Onto the hills through the gate opposite the bench at road summit (park at ford though!!), straightforward and pleasant walk up to trig pt, from where the whole ridge route looks really inviting. Another day of fine weather, with brother, Petepwheeler15/09/2022

Parked near Peniel. Road towards KY and up through field and rough grazing. Rather fine hill with some steep bits. Windy. Met someone starting out on the Pennine Way on the road. First time on road here since finishing the Pennine Way on a school trip. (Back when it was a 400km glaurfest)fasgadh08/03/2020

Stormy weather episode 2. Staying at a lovely cottage just down the lane in yet never done this hill - why why! A glorious spot especially when getting blown up the hill. Pennine Way then over to Green Humbleton. Strange how different it feels not having traipsed all the way from the Schil etc.briandavies09/10/2018

Parked in village and set off at 13.35. Up the steep road and turned off at a gate in a stone wall and plod up a newly ploughed field to a new BWF. Over this and onto grassy upper part of the hill. To the newly whitewashed column 7470 at 14.20. Not many PW walkers come this way I suppose!arranc19/06/2012
