A classic Hill Fort. LovelyPlay2End27/11/2022
First tump with Gem as married couple. Walked from 1 Fairrule Cottage and back. No marked path but a series of farmer paths with gates gets you there. There is a wall with a flat log you have to climb over and final assent no path. Easy enough though. Cracking panoramic view.jordanwalmsley198724/09/2022

Short walk with the family from Hobkirk. Tricky to find a route across Rule Water from where we were staying but got there in the end. Great views from the top and very good weather.PaulJN27/10/2019
Parked at jct. with A6088; off road from signpost just above Bonchester Farm. Improved pasture, stile, then made our way up rough pasture to the very good summit. Maybe that ground 2m from trig is higher. T99?. Worthwhile regardless. Last of a day of quick bags before forecast rain, which came as we finished. More coffee, at the community café in Hawick (with delicious cake!). With brother Pete.pwheeler24/09/2019

Signed path from S with parking at jct. HP appears to be knoll 2m W of cairn but may not be natural and could be higher ground beneath cairn. Near to completing Humps, thought best to do this P99! Nice way to round off the weekendRHW15/04/2018
