As others parked at start of junction of tracks, overgrown track to zigzag grassy path then over fence and over to top with cairn. Descent through woodland to rejoin the same track past farm and back to the start.Dazingdale23/09/2023
Parked at start of RoW/Farm track to Foel-isaf. 80m along track, then R onto quite overgrown track to a gate. Over this and then left upwards through trees to join unmapped track, which is visible on aerial photos, which zig zags up the hill. Over 1 fence and across to summit.Minto19/07/2023

Took a copy of Mark Trengrove's route as we had failed to work out ow we could get to the HP on a 2016 visit. All OK, but a new bw fence means comfortable-ish access to the summit pasture can only be made at 4480 5087. Tried to follow more zigzags on way down but continued round hill and down to RoW (unmarked but nowhere obstructed) through Foel Isaf where there is an intersting mix of livestock.pwheeler12/03/2022
Drove around the hill. Couldn't find a visible footpath. It's surrounded by houses/farms. Going to atempt another day.Skarletk16/10/2021
As Mark Trengrove. Parked in small layby just a few metres NE of junction at SH 4431 5103 - E. along road & then up Foel Isaf track for about 80m - Sharp right, up track & over fence next to secured gate - Continued up track for 75m or so & then up through trees to join grass track which zig-zags up steepish slope - Easily over collapsed, rusty barbed wire fence & then a short gentle climb to the summit stones. Obvious low cairn at summit within sheep pasture. Within earth embankments of hillfort. Approached from N via RoW and parked to west near road junction in layby. Lovely sunny green views with distant mountain views.Denise 08/04/2018
Mark Trengroves car parking and route worked well. While eating lunch on the S side of the summit plateau a farmer on quad checking on his sheep gave a surprised but friendly greeting.RichardM08/04/2018

marktengove's route. Eezy peezy.jonglew08/09/2017
Directions as Mark Trengove, got our campervan parked in the spot so plenty of room. Up the hill was ok, however in descent veered a little too much to the left, so cut back hard right towards the ROW which we had strayed from earlier, quite inadventently...nordicstar20/07/2017
All went quite well using The route from the north.jenx20/07/2017
After parking next to gateway of English retired policeman from Wiltshire called Bob and next to his curious herd of twenty mohair goats, zig zagged up the grassy bracken trackvegibagger15/06/2017

From Foel-Isaf farm track north of hill for less than 100m before taking ancient track to sharp right and then zig zag up over easy pasture and onto moorland top.Campbell Singer22/01/2016
As marktrengrove. Some frisky cows near the top but they ran away when I got near.clivevilla28/10/2015

Parked in small lay-by near road junction at SH 44310 51030 - room for 1-2 cars, if parked carefully. Took lane east, then lane south towards Foel Isaf farm. After about 100m, turned west onto overgrown grassy track at SH 44875 51160. Once over gate ascended through woodland and bracken to broken fence by oak tree at SH 44753 51046. Once over, joined grassy track that zig-zagged up the hill to the plateau. Once over another broken barbed wire fence it was an easy stroll to the summit. Returned much the same way. Sunny day tidying up my remaining Lleyn tumps. Just have Criccieth Castle left to do now.Alex C21/04/2015
Intended to go in from the N, but missed the turning in Llanyfni. Very pleasant ascent from the lane end at the S: 3 gates.GordonAdshead09/04/2015

Final trip to Lleyn Peninsular to visit this HuMP. Parked at 443510, along lane and up on green zig zags from the house. Mistook way down and passed in front of the house (on a right of way). The couple said that they had just bought the place and found it lovely, but that they didn't see many walkers. Hasn't anyone told them of this recent promotion which involved mainly walking off ROW's?arranc08/04/2014
Parked easily at beginning of track to SE. Along track then through a gate. Then pasture all the way through open gates.destaylor17/03/2014

Track from south and then easy gates to summit. Looks like this is gonna become a fully fledged Hump, so trying to keep ahead of the game.Martin R13/02/2014
