Solo from Inverie, Mam Uidhe, Abhainn Bheag and up to Mam Li. Steep and 'Rough' up Carn Dubh to summit. Descent SW to Meall Coire an-t Searraich and down to bridge over Abhainn Inbhis Ghuiserein. Awful descent through deep uneven vegetation. Return to Inverie on track. Oh for a MTB! | John Lee | 29/06/2023 |
From the east end of Inverie, along the track over the Mam Uidhe, then the path up to the Mam Li. Steep and rocky ascent up Carn Dubh. Some excellent views to Rum and Skye. Along the long ridge over Meall Coire an t-Searraich, then steeply down the rocky slopes to the bridge over the Abhainn Inbhir Ghuiserin. Two things of note on the descent - what I interpreted as a large debris slide near the top of the slope, and a terrible decision to go straight through the area of replanted trees. Terrain was awful, so ignore the stile and just go round. 26km and 6h 45 | Rockdoctor | 02/04/2023 |
With Ian. 8:30am MV Larven from Mallaig to Inverie - arrived before 9am. Set off up the track to Mam Uidhe, and at the junction of track coming up through the forest (to/from Ladhar Bheinn) we continued to the bridge over Abhainn Inbhir Ghiuserein. From there, over 500m of steep & pathless ascent to Meall an t'Searraich. Contined across to the corbett summit before heading down to Mam Li before following the wet path back to the Ladhar Beinn route and followed that back out to our inwards track. As we had just 6 hours between ferries, we had jogged some of route in and out, so we got back to Inverie at just after 2pm - enough time for a cheeky pint before the ferry back to Mallaig. | mproudfoot | 23/10/2022 |
Boat from Arnisdale. Got dropped off at approx 831079. Up S side Allt na Leth-bheinne on deer track between it and fence. Mostly pathless after fence corner until I got to Carn Dubh then on path most of way to top. | duchally | 28/07/2022 |

Solo fr Inverie, cloud had now filled in so rather grey views but tops still visible. 19M total day, about 10h but went well on the whole, though long knobbly rough traverse between the two hills went slowly. Run back down the path was long but ok, except that I didn't cross where I should have and did a mile or two of rough trackless hiking when I could've been on path on other side of river. | NorfolkPT21 | 21/07/2020 |

Cycled from Inverie up Gleann Guiserein, then good path up Abhainn Bheag towards Mam Li then back over summit. | Topographer57 | 03/07/2018 |
From Sgurr Coire Choinnichean. Descended SCC from the NE end of the ridge to the west of the north spur. Entertaining but surprisingly straightforward descent north dodging various outcrops to the river, through the planted area. Across the bridge, then up Abhainn Bheag past the waterfall, then got wet feet crossing the large stream and improvised a route up to the broad plateau area, steep and heathery in places. Then a straightforward plod to the top. | Owen B | 22/06/2018 |

With M, staying in Inverie, above Post Office. Long walk, a bit damp. Wild. | douglas_easton | 16/05/2015 |
A good round of this and four related tops from Inverie. A longish day but going mainly good except a slightly awkward descent on poor snow to get to the North top and then a very problematic traverse around the north.west side of the main top to regain the ridge for the remaining tops. Involving a very steep descent in a very loose gulley. There must be a better way but I did not fancy re-ascending the main summit though in hindsight this may well have been quicker and certainly safer. | dickscroop | 01/05/2015 |
On RBS Knoydart weekend. I walked from Inverie through Mam Uidhe to the footbridge short of Folach and then up Abhainn Bheag and Allt Mam Li. I climbed to the bealach / shoulder NE of Beinn na Caillich and then WSW to the summit. I had good views of Ladhar Bheinn, Loch Hourn, Beinn Sgritheall and into Mallaig. I returned the same way. | langskill | 23/08/2014 |
