| Parked at 96242 39486, up the lane and on to Pen Coed y Bedo, then west to Garw Fynydd which was no real problem. Then I went SE to Rhos Dawel which I would not recommend as most of it is pathless and there is some thick forest and areas of awful brambles. | Bryn Bras, Orddu, Foel Goch, Garnedd Fawr, Pen y Bwlch Gwyn, Moel Emoel and Garw Fynydd from SH 961 396. Fairly wet for most of the walk after starting out OK and a couple of the higher hills were in cloud. Few paths but only moderately rough going. | Parked at lane junction under the power cables at SH 96132 39618 - room for 1-2 cars. Asked friendly farmer working nearby and he was very helpful. Took lane NW past Llwyniolyn and onwards after it became a soggy track. 300m S of edge of access land I took to the NE slope of the hill. Had to cross 2 barbed wire fences to access plantation.
