Nice walk along the track from 05040 20357 but then the fun started. I spotted a vague track on the left and it was indeed well blocked by fallen trees, brambles and other obstacles but I eventually got through. I went down further east which was easier but still large portions of wet, head high bracken and uneven under foot so I fell twice. I won't be going back.clivevilla26/08/2022
Having had an awful deep bracken, fallen trees, and heather experience on Rhialgwm from the SW, I worked my way across to Clawdd Mawr, from where an easy route down grassy fields (some not access land) brought me back to the forest road without further incident. Just 6km with 300m ascent taking a long and hard 2 hours!silveracorn_alan06/08/2022
Came over here after Rhialgwm. The hill fort walls are impressive. Summit in felled area over barbed wire fence. Easy track back to the van parked to the north. Solo.Dangerous Dave26/05/2022
