As others have reported, a lovely hill with easy access and wonderful all-round views. I helped a horse rider who was struggling to get her mare past a scary looking JCB parked up for lunch. Plenty of young conifers suggest that these views won't be around for long. A disturbingly mild January day - 12 degrees!Rob Rees29/01/2022
Messed up. What I should have done is take the left hand path shortly after leaving the cp. Then after a further 200ms turn right and this would have taken me all the way to the top. Won’t mention my route up.Campbell Singer12/01/2022
Evening walk from forestry car-park to NE. A track goes more or less along the ridge line to the summit. Not so many trees due to felling - excellent views. Back along the track shown on the western side. Very warm and sunny.Hillad08/08/2020
From car park to NE. Turned left soon after the barrier then kept taking the uphill option.clivevilla25/10/2017
From CP at NE end of ridge via forestry tracks and a grassy ride along the ridge.Moorponder06/10/2017
100m beyond car park barrier, turn left to find track going north at 952510. Follow this to a fainter path leading off right at 947505. This goes just E of N to the column on the left of the path.arranc28/09/2015
Easy stroll up track from north east with Alan H and George M - who had told me it was a Hump! Trig in clearing with nice view to east.chriswatson17/11/2012
