Part of FOSCLA walk from Gunnerside to Reeth using 830 Northern Dalesman bus to access. Preceded by visit to Surrender Smeltimng Mill remains. Wet and windy on top but reasonable views nonetheless.JOHNS12/06/2022
With NB from Reeth cp. Along river to Healaugh and steep road to mix of paths and summit. Returned NW path to cross Arkle and path back to Reeth, aware that there is no bridge. Farmer removed storm damaged. Passable if river low at spot just down river. Windy but sunnyFrank10/05/2022

With Chris, Christine, Eric, Geoff and Steve. A circular walk from Reeth around the north side of Swaledale from Reeth, visiting Calver Hill and Great Pinseat. Great views both of Swaledale and further afield. 22km with 600m ascent in 7 hours. Riverside path by the River Swale closed due to erosion just upstream of Reeth.silveracorn_alan17/06/2021
