Fine day with some mist and a stiff breeze on the ridgeCapt Malbec09/07/2022
On foot with John from the parking area by the A861/A830 junction. Lovely walk in along Gleann Fionlighe with blue skies above - midge season just starting so we didn't stop often until up on the hill where the moderate wind kept them at bay. The ascent is relentless once started, but after point 855m, it's easy going, even between the summit and the top. Had a spot of lunch on the actual summit, before getting out of dodge before an incoming weather front caught us. The edge of the front did drop some rain on us, but not enough to require deploying the gore tex kit. Cleared up for another pleasant walk out. Total time: 6h 39minmproudfoot29/05/2022

Walked up from the junction with the A861 over South Top and on to the summit. Superb views in the warm sunny weather. With binoculars could see Outer Hebrides and through the haze the Cairngorms. Cuillin of Skye and Rum liked impressive. Plenty of snow on Ben Nevis. Time 5 hours 40 minutes for touch over 14 miles.isabelle30/05/2021
Cycled up the glen from the layby on the A861, leaving the bike at the end of the pine plantation. Hikking up and over the Munro Top then Gulvain. Great views on top, Rum and Cuillins visible.chillyman815/10/2020

Great day after camp near loch eil with m and d. View to Skye rum.Rodge31/03/2019
Walked in up Gleann Fionnlighe from Drumsallie - then ascended steeply onto the southern end of the summit ridge. Unfortunately no snow and no visibility - proceeded to summit - little difficulty, and returned same route - I think this would be a fantastic ridge in winter conditions on a clear daywychwood03/03/2019
Long walk in but worth it for some of the views near the summitsignyred21/02/2019
Trad route, no bike, dawn start and dusk finish on 3rd shortest day of the year. Nice crunchy snow on the ridge.Isbjorn Winter Round23/12/2018

Solo fr P at NN959792, after checking in at Gairlochy capsite. Mostly running, wind during ascent but summit was calm and absolutely spectacular with views galore. Back to car 7:10pm but bad night, w airmat losing air and upper duvet losing heat, sore R toe after bashing it, so next day despite continuing good weather I just drove home.NorfolkPT2101/08/2016
Long day as it was hot. Track takes about hour and a half each way. Long way up and down, better on way down for the view. Alonetallblond01/08/2016
