Holly Bank from pull in off Lees Road, just north of Butt Lane, then walk into Mossley, train to Grassfield to tackle Wharmton, walk back to car.

From Market Street car park in Mossley (SD 96732 02077) WSW along main road to The Billy Goat pub & start of RoW - Up RoW & along Tameside Trail to stile which lies about 100m N. of trig point - Over stile, through field gate & across pasture to summit. Easy parking in a mini layby on the road to the west. The footpath can be followed from the layby (rather than climbing a bank 30m further on). Join the main track after 10m, go through a gate and soon the trig comes into view on the right. 10 minutes return | moorsman | 19/02/2017 |

8th and penultimate top of the day on a 17 mile walk from Marsden to Mossley station, climbing Pule hill, Ox Hey top, Harrop Edge, Delph hill, Badger Edge, Wharmton and Quick Edge dropping down to the road at the bottom. Head-torch on as darkness has descended. Took signposted fp up until reaching brow of ridge. Stiles allow access into fenced areas.
