From the parking area up steps and through the tracks. Left at gate to the trig. Back down through the woods. Got a few geocaches along the way with the kids and grandparents | The-Z-Man | 08/10/2023 |
Decent views towards the coast from the nearby edge and a pleasant spot for the trig on rough land alongside the fieldside BW. Trig whitewash is fading and on 3 sides has THE, FLAT & EARTH written on. The 4th side has a big black rectangle with a yellow diamond. The steep muddy paths in the woods are not a place to walk in gripless trainers and quite cut up in places by bikes and horses. From parking area at W end of Errington Wood on a sunny day KJ | crazy | 07/04/2023 |
parked at SE corner of New Marske and up steps on ROW to field then left to Trig | grumpy | 06/02/2023 |
From parking/picnic area with Minnie, first to South via Sandy lane then to Trig/top, some good views of the coast & Middlesbrough, back down through Errington Wood, cold & dry until back at car | apricorum | 08/12/2022 |
10:00, 11 degrees (14 later) sunny spells, strong south-westerlies. From car park. Pleasant. | Wycombe Wanderer | 15/10/2022 |
A pleasant, if damp, ascent through woodland and a return through reclaimed iron workings. The trig pillar has a large retro-reflective diamond attached - on the side facing Middlesbrough. There is gap in the tree screen which would permit a laser located somewhere north of the city to hit the reflector | M3WDD | 06/07/2021 |
Cycled to bottom of woods and walked up with Dave. Wild garlic just starting to sprout under the trees. | SlowOl | 27/03/2021 |

Easy roadside parking on the easternmost road into Marske. Then there is a well trodden easy path to the summit. 50 percent slope, 50 percent steps. Trig now lost in the vegetation. | moorsman | 03/09/2014 |
