Knoydart Backpacking Circuit - Day #4tleach1227/05/2021
I bagged another two Munros yesterday (11/10/20), cycling up Glen Finnan (underneath the much photographed viaduct) to the Corryhully Bothy. Then hikking up to Sgurr Thuilm (963m), then westward along the ridge to Sgurr nan Coireachan (956m). Followed by a seemingly never ending descent back down to the bike and blissfully quick cycle back out. It was dry all day, with some great views from Sgurr Thuilm, but the low cloud didn’t shift from Sgurr nan Coireachan, 08:10hrs all in.chillyman811/10/2020

With Yeltzbgger. Things were going well, pleasant weather, untill I had a horrendous fall on the way down. I started rolling uncontrollably down a very steep slope. The only thing that stopped me was a large rock. Yeltzbagger was worried In had broken my back. After getting over the shock I managed to walk down. No more climbing for me that week. Went to Skye where Yeltzbagger nearly killed himself on Sgurr a'Ghreadaidh.Stevie n Tay07/08/2012

Alone. I walked from Glenfinnan station up Glen Finnan to Corryhully which was closed up with stones and cement. Although not marked on the map the path continued further up the valley. I found a stalkers' path going up the north east side of the southeast ridge of Sgurr a Choire Riabhaich, which I followed. It can hardly have been used in recent years. At its end I ascended to the top of Sgurr a' Choire Riabhaich and on to the top of Sgurr nan Coireachan. Mist was above about 1600' the whole time apart from about 2 minutes when it cleared briefly. I returned to Sgurr a' Choire Riabhaich and descended by Allt a' Choire Charnaig, crossing over to an unnamed stream leading directly to Corryhully where the two come close together. I returned by the path down Glen Finnan.pwbellarby29/08/1970
