Parked at Westmoorgate for a circuit of 4 Tumps. Easy grassy terrain. Hendra Downs, Leskernick Hill, Buttern Hill, Bray Down.PGCE09/07/2022
Fifth and final top on a walk taking in in Tolborough, Leskernick, Buttern Hill, Bray Down and Hendra Beacon from Jamaica Inn. Up Hendra from the Leskernick stone circles, was flagging a bit but it was worth the climb. More great views. Descended WNW to join the bridleway, which I followed back to the road. Such a shame that the bus service which enabled me to do this walk has already been scrapped again (not enough passengers).thesweetcheat15/06/2022
From Westmoorgate. Initially along BW, then headed up to top following sheep tracks. HP over fence via gate. Came back alongside fence.PeterD21/05/2022

A very pleasant and interesting walk - lots to see and lots to investigate - even elephants. Parked just off the A30 access slip.M3WDD07/08/2018
One of several similar outcropping rocks in moss grass and rough pasture. Parked at end of road N of Bolventor and the A 30Denise 11/03/2018
From end of the Blackhill road where there is parking space for 3 cars. Bridleway NNE onto moor then E along fence line to summit. Great walking on short firm grass. High point a small loan rock in moss/grass ESE of prominent rocks. Raining, misty views.RichardM11/03/2018
Parked at 204 804 , end of road in spaces at gate just outside westmoorgate. Enjoyable gentle walk to summit via Leskernick hill and Black Rock. Fantastic vista on clear day , high wind prompted quick return to car following fence, stone wall and tracks of the beast of Bodmin moor ( more likely cross country runner on fast decent).Hippy7713/02/2018

Dedicated parking area at the very end of the road which runs west from Trewint. Easy grassland so direct route from Leskernick isno problem. If doing this one on its own, the wall starting at the car aprk runs directly to the summit with an asy track developing alongside it.moorsman17/06/2016
From Westmoorgate. Room to park 1-2 cars by gate at SX 20528 80384. Took stony track west onto moor, then south up to fence on grass, following it south to wooden gate. Summit just beyond. Walk continued to Leskernick Hill. A day of fierce WSW wind, but with some sunshine.Man of Kernow131/03/2015

Easy parking to NNE. Took a direct path to the summit. Short grass. Excellent walk.destaylor30/11/2013
Plenty of roadside parking on minor road to NE - about 100m before fence at end of road at Westmoorgate. Followed fence round SW then S to top past Black Rock, no problems. Top obvious, just betond fence junction, though of little merit. Good views. On to Leskernick Hill next.Hillsidenick13/08/2013
