Parked to W at start of by-way. Visited trig, summit and tumulus.PGCE05/11/2020
Ascended via the restricted byway to the W ( parking possible just of the A30 ). Nice climb & fine hill with good views. Large BM on the MS to the W ( BM located where the path branches off heading to Berwick Coombe ). Part of a 18 mile loop over the hills of the Vale of Wardour & beyond.DanMaisieBex13/09/2020
Nice clear day with sun and showers. HP appears to be on tussocky long barrow near path, but also noted a grassy bank between path and trig. Trig is in adjacent stubble field. There is parking on the by way to the E where the byway and road cross which we wished we had realized as we struggled to park. Cut mark on nearby vertical stone guidepost to SW.Denise 12/01/2020
Glorious if blowy walk from the E along the byway. Trig, long barrow, grassy bank offer choice of summit. Summit field of chalky soil with copious flints still stubble.RichardM12/01/2020
From WSW along good track visit to Trig, HP just beyond and back via the top of the Long Barrow. County completion.PeterD27/09/2019

Loop from Tisbury station (day trip from London): High Wood, Donhead Hill, West End Hill, Win Green, White Sheet Hill, Ansty Hill, Castle DitchesMark Jackson21/10/2017
4 and half hr circular walk with L and Buddy the Lab & Tonka the Border Terrier linking Breeze Hill (a Notable) then f'ps & lanes to this hill passing Firle House -a new mansion built in 2001 in Queen Anne style on site of former House where Duchess Hamiltion founded an animal sanctuary-initially a place of safety for pets of rich Londoner's during WWII. Climbed up from SW - lovely open Downs - model glider enthusiasts near summit. Great views of Cranbourne Chase (so very similar to the South Downs) Back via Berwick St John - sandwich stop on churchyard seat - and up and over Win Green.Chris Pearson15/04/2017

I walked up the gravelled track from the road - several m/bikes and 4WDs didn't.arranc22/03/2014
Easy parking at end of byway to west where it meets the A30 (ST934240). Wide gravel track all way to summit. Tumulus to west is highest point, but highest point excluding this man-made feature is on track just to east of trig point. Impressive old milestone near summit. Old quarries to west. Worth a look at the Fovant Badges just east along the A30 towards Wilton (hill carvings in chalk).Hillsidenick23/04/2013
Bagged the trig point here today without realizing it was also a hill!jonglew14/03/2013
