Parked at 81587 22546 near start of fp along the edge of a field then up through the woods to trig. Disappointingly no view as it is in the woods. | clivevilla | 31/07/2023 |
Up from woodland trust car park. Clear track to summit, but very limited views though tree canopy | cjo | 21/04/2022 |
From the large cp to the west. Good paths up through pleasant woodland. | Campbell Singer | 13/10/2021 |
ROW from car park. Both summit options visited. | PGCE | 26/08/2020 |
17th & last hill of the day. From car park to the West. ROW all the way to the top. Well used paths were muddy & slippery. | fosal29 | 10/11/2019 |
Last hill of the day, parked SE of the hill in parking space opposite Thomas's Farm, followed easy and well defined paths all the way to the top, the forest is nice but its a shame you can't see the view from the summit very well. Retraced steps to car. Very lucky with the weather again because it poured down before and after we did this hill. Earlier that day bagged Hambledon Hill, Hod Hill, Win Green and Melbury Hill in 2 separate walks. 13.7 miles all together. | DanTrig | 09/10/2019 |
From car park to west good tracks to top and trig. | PeterD | 27/09/2019 |
Shaftesbury to Gillingham. SE to NW traverse. Disappointing not to have more than a tantalising view through the bare winter trees from this very prominent eminence. | Smudge | 22/02/2019 |
Lovely woodland with Autumnal tones with short steep ascent on wide tracks. Trig near HP. Free Woodland Trust carpark on W side. Nice views of green vales through gaps in trees. | Denise | 18/09/2017 |
Large free car park just off minor road on W side of hill. Track E under Oaks dropping ripe acorns in the hot sunshine. Across open grassland into Woodland Trust woods. Woodland tracks over slithery clay soil gain the steep little summit with trig pillar. Vegetated ground 3m E of pillar is marginally higher. Good views obscured by band of trees. | RichardM | 18/09/2017 |
From car park to west - left at wood then right up steeply on edge of wood. Nice hill but no views | Mark Sims | 27/07/2017 |
Bagged as YSM650 Duncliffe Hill.

Supposed to be heading for Camel Hill YSM509, which is a nice roadside trig - it was dark now and walking up Duncliffe Hill would be ill advised. However someone either told the driver the wrong YOSM number or they selected the wrong one and we ended up at the parking for Duncliffe Hill, so we decided we'd have to go for it!

Blooming steep this hill, my life what a state I was in at the top. It's in the bag now and I don't think there would have been a view! | thejackrustles | 21/04/2017 |
Steep hill, easily accessible from car park to the west - fantastic views | prcclarke | 23/02/2017 |
A steep climb. Solo. | Skerryvore | 15/09/2016 |

park at 817223 in the off road car park. bridal path and track all the way to the trig. very slippery today. | arranc | 03/02/2014 |
New car park to west off minor road at ST817223. Good tracks all way to summit trig.
Anyone who doesn't collect subHuMPs is missing a real gem of a hill in a well maintained wood. | Hillsidenick | 23/04/2013 |
Walked up from the new car park on the minor road to the E of the hill. Very muddy, very steep, lucky not to land on my backside on the way down. Purpose of the visit was to bag the trig, didn't realize it was a subHuMP. | jonglew | 14/03/2013 |
