Lovely walk to and from summit area, which is both scrubby and overgrown. From CP opposite White Horse PH.IanHHill30/11/2023
Revisit for NE summit. From NW, public parking opposite pub.RHW19/09/2023
Navigated to the LIDAR GR10 which is in head high bracken and looks lower than the summit, which is somewhere in a large flat area in trees and undergrowth. Galltywenallt16/08/2023
Car park opposite the White Horse Inn, along the bridleway opposite, and up the right of way by the garage. Pleasant walking on paths until close to the summit, then explored the associated undergrowth around the summit area.LizH16/08/2023
Parked in NT car park and followed the trail to Hydon's Ball, across to then Breakneck Hill and then, Hascombe Hill before heading back to the car park. Good views all round.Buck10/02/2023
A nightmare reaching Hascombe as road was closed to water pipes being put in at Foxhill. When I finally got there I parked opposite The Crown, closed for refurbishment. Nice hillCampbell Singer06/01/2022
From car park on B2130, easy stroll on paths to both tops, the easterly one the more awkward in an area of scrubColin Crawford17/10/2021
From the Black Horse car park. Nice trails.twg2703/10/2021
Car park opposite the White Horse pub at TQ 0015 3942 - Up bridleway next to pub for about 100m & then turned right alongside a wooden garage - Up RoW & other paths/tracks to the summit clearing; no views. Back along path/track & continued NE to the alternative summit. Good track most of the way, but last 100m or so is over large amounts of brash. Large conifer alongside a beech on summit. Parked at small car park at 001391. Circuit of Hascombe Hill, it's alternative summit and Breakneck Hill.PGCE22/11/2020
From Breakneck Hill and the minor road to the south. Swiftly ascended to fort top before visiting Telegraph hill top to the east.garyhoney08/11/2020
Picked off on the way to Isle of Wight.Parked in small car park opposite The White Horse. Pleasant circular walk sticking with PROW. Headed up Nore Lane at side of pub to visit alternative top first, continuing clockwise along PROW to main summit. Grassy area just off path. Nearly came a cropper on dusty embankment retuning to path, which heads back to Nore Lane near pub and van.mntainman21/09/2020
Nice walk from Hascombe, wooded scarp, sweet chestnut coppice, back along open track through fields. Cleared/ thinned patches high up gave decent views- more light and views through trees in mid winter. With Pete today, other visits inc.a walk with Rachel when it was a Tump.pwheeler22/08/2020
Train to Witley, then headed east using the Greensand Way. Got a thorough soaking, so didn't bother investigating the potential summits to the NE of the likely summit. The White Horse was a welcome place to pause in whilst waiting for the rain to stop.Richard25/07/2020
From Hydon’s Ball on a walk that included Breakneck Hill. Notable for the first post-lockdown pint in the White HorseRockdoctor04/07/2020

CP to NW opp. White Horse Inn by B2130. FP leaves Greensand Way behind a garage and has turned to sludge. Ascend over tree roots just left of garage for firm ground.mae20/01/2020

After Hydon’s Ball and Breakneck Hill. Then on to Yewtree Nob using Greensand way. Fort is summit beside two tall Scots Pinesnickywood121/11/2018

Quick and direct from the small car park located to the west on the road. Look out for one of the Greensand Way benches up here. Summit on the site of old fort. Nice walk around the hill, very strange mix of every tree you can possibility think of planted here. The Mountain Raven09/09/2017
I think I stood on the highest point, which wasn't where my GPS was pointing.Alancache24/04/2017
Up and down on good tracks from White Horse Pub.rhalstead03/04/2016
From a car park not marked on my 1:25k map at TQ 00153 39090. Directly from there up hill to meet RoW then due S to HP; coarse grass, fern/bramble clumps with magnificent Scots pines scattered about. Took a direct NW line off the hill to cross the road and up onto Breakneck Hill.jonglew28/01/2016
Solo, up from car parksimon and co17/11/2015
3 - 195m ring contours mapped on hill, the SW top is an open area of roughly cut grass with scattered clumps of Blackberries and lofty Scotts Pines. Easy access a few metres up sandy bank off foot path. Grey and wet evening. Didn't investigate the other 2 'tops' which are in woodland.RichardM11/08/2015

Nice little circuit from White Horse at Hascombe with Jolanda.squeegs09/06/2013
Third Surrey hill of the day. Good village car park opposite the White Horse pub in village to north. Good paths all way to summit hill fort. Good views on way up, but not at summit due to tree cover. Fairly flat at top, but easy to work out where summit is in clearing. Didn't meet anyone despite being a warm and sunny Sunday afternoon.Hillsidenick05/05/2013
P opposite pub in Hascombe. Visited top plus wlked along the top.chrisbien23/04/2013
